Rises hell with your oil pressure switch make them stop working as soon as I started using it on my gmc pick up truck

Bit of a hassle to use without getting drips or spills and no way to tell how much is used. Have to keep careful track and write with marker on the box... but manufacturer left no place on the box to write this down, box covered in printing. Sigh. Obviously engineered by some who will never use it

I use this in my 2007 Chevy Cobalt w/ 2.2l I-4. The engine has never run smoother. I'm at 6,000 miles and this oil looks to be good for at least 12-15K with a filter change coming up at 7-8k miles (I use the Bosch Distance Plus 3324 cartridge). It's a little thicker than normal 5w-30 (a good thing for high mileage engines) and really works when hot. The extra insurance for seal maintenance and engine wear is worth the price. Mobil-1 4w-30 high mileage is also great, but that was due for a change at 7k miles (it was thinned and dark). Oil is much cheaper now that I can DOUBLE change intervals. Your mileage (literally) may vary.

I have been using this oil for almost a year now after switching from regular Valvoline 5W30 Synthetic and the only place I can find it is Amazon.com. Detergents and additives keep the motor in my truck running like new. I depend on this oil to keep it going for many upon many of tens of thousands of miles to come. I change it every 3,000 miles with a K&N oil filter. Highly recommended in my opinion!

Have used the Valvoline oils for nearly 50 years. Always switched to "Max Life" when the vehicle got to about 150k miles.. Several of these now have over 300k miles on the original engine with no failures. My current vehicle (08) now has 150k miles and it's time to switch to the full synthetic MaxLife product. I just wish it was available in 5 qt jugs.
