Barbie Collector Diwali Doll Festivals of The World

this doll is absolutely gorgeous!!! i was worried that it may not have looked like it did from the computer photo but when it arrived it certainly did and it was just as beautiful in person. the only thing is the price, i still think it was really too high, nonetheless, i'm still happy with the purchase, my little princess is overjoyed with the doll-so exotic and cute. as far as the durability, i just gave three stars because we haven't had it for very long, but it's just like a barbie doll so it should hold up pretty well. update: it's been six months now since i last bought it and it's very durable-clothing, hair, everything still very beautiful and eye catching even with my six year old's rough housing i have to say, this and the other indian doll(listed in other reviews) were worth it-still very pleased

Beautiful doll 😍 tho it needed a bit of dusting. It came with its certificate of authenticity and doll stand. Doll box has slight scuffing probably due to age but otherwise in good condition. I appreciate that its packaged well especially as mine is an international order.

you see, i am from india.this doll is really pretty.but she doesnt look very indian.her features are more of an american.in india a toy company named LEO makes indian barbie (named BARBIE IN INDIA) with more indian looks.and they are cheaper too.

I got her from another source but SHE IS BEAUTIFUL and would recommend this doll to collectors. And I rebodied her and she is just as fabulous in her new body.

This doll is the favorite of my collection. Beautiful features, make up and costume. She has loads of pretty jewelry, including anklets. She is bare foot and I added a sparkly gold pair of low sandals that go perfectly. I also added a real bindhi to her forehead. She has a very light colored dot on her forehead which is pretty, but I think she looks better with the bindhi. I cut a larger one to size, looks gorgeous.

She us a treat for the collectibles... I love her hair and dress....she is pretty... Although it is overpriced....

I really wanted to get the DOTW Princess of India, but was unable to find her so when I saw Diwali Barbie I knew I had to get her. I love the dolls of the World Collection, I also like watching Indian Movies (Bollywood), personally she looks like those typical Indian Actresses on Indian movies, another reason why I bought her, this doll definitely looks like Bollywood Actress Ashwarya Rai, Anyways back to the review, she has beautiful light greyish side glancing eyes , she has very cute jewellery on her and her sari is just so cute, the designer of this doll really did a good job on her. My only con is that she doesn't look like the doll on the picture on the card, she is beautiful anyway, she comes complete with stand, collector card and Certificate of Authenticity.

Diwali ist eine bildschöne Puppe, Detail genau ausgearbeitet, das Gesicht ist hervorragend und Schmuck und Kostüm sind aufwendig gestaltet. Sie sieht besser aus in natura als auf dem Bild. Sie wird als Sammlerstück gehandelt, was möglicherweise den hohen Verkaufspreis rechtfertigt. Allerdings finde ich 150 Euro aufwärts, für den sie neu angeboten wird, etwas überzogen. Ich hatte das Glück sie für knapp 100 Euro zu erwerben, war als "gebraucht" deklariert, allerdings waren die einzigen "Gebrauchsmerkmale" der bereits geöffnete Originalkarton. Die Puppe selbst war neu. Wie bereits festgestellt, die Puppe ist ein Hingucker, wer "Dolls of the World" und insbesondere indische Puppen sammelt, mag bereit sein, den teuren Preis, mit dem sie angeboten wird, zu bezahlen.
