Great for kebab lowers

These have held up very very well. they are better than the authentic skewers i got from the middle east. they are decently heavy, have not rusted, and work great for all types of kabobs. I like how these don't have wooden handles so i can use them on different size grills and not have to worry about handles burning.

I purchased these to make Adana kebabs on my grill and these skewers worked perfectly. Because they lacked handles, I worried they would be difficult to manage with a bulky oven mitt. Yet, I didn't even need to use a mitt because they ends stayed cool to the touch. One thing I failed to consider was the need to chill my prepared kebabs in the refrigerator before grilling and these skewers are longer than our fridge shelves are deep. I quickly realized the ends can extend them into the door shelf space with a bit of maneuvering, but you should keep that in mind when considering your needs. Overall, these skewers are definitely worth their price. Their size and weight are impressive - Medieval almost. Their sturdiness should accommodate large cuts of meat. I imagine that seven skewers are more than enough for most recipes (I only needed four). The kit includes a nylon storage bag, but they also have drilled holes on the ends to allow you to store them on a hook. Big thumbs up on this product.

These skewers have some pros and cons. Pros: They are long enough to sit on the widest point of the rim of my 22" weber kettle with enough overhang for me to handle the ends to flip them(most of the one's I have tried are several inches too short for this). They are very sturdy, they don't bend much under the weight of the meat. They hold their shape well at very high temps. They are wide enough to keep the meat from rotating on the skewers during flipping. Cons: They are too wide for smaller chunks of meat, I'd say the minimum size I would put on this skewew is ~2". The pointy end is very blunt, even the very tip is rounded off. I ended up sharpening and beveling the ends on 3 of them(that's all that I generally need to feed my family). It think this is probably intended more for kabobs made from ground meat and it would work perfectly for that.

Great for kebap, high quality

I bought these since they were longer than a lot of the other options. When I got these I was concerned that it would be difficult to put chicken on this with how wide it is. But it worked great! Easy to flip. I would’ve liked a handle of some sort, but this way it is easier to clean. It does come with a storage bag.

I was given the seal of approval by the father in law that these were a blessing for kabobs. If using a persian grill these will be perfect. These are wide enough for the kabob. You will not be disappointed with these, the case works great for storage as well. They are very well made. Reminds me I need to buy another set for myself and my brother in law. Don't pass these up because they are not a name brand.

"i piattoni" sono un must del BBQ e per piattoni intendo gli spiedini da 40 a 50 cm e larghi da 1,5cm a 2 cm. Questi sono larghi 2,5 cm il che al momento mi ha lasciato perplesso; provati poi si sono dimostrati della dimensione perfetta. Tecnicamente non saprei dire ma sono fatti bene, una punta ragionevole ed i manici in legno davvero ottimi
