Review: great - love the new blackberry Review: Reasonable upgrade to BB Priv when Key3 is unlikely soon - or ever - The BlackBerry Key2 LE is a reasonable improvement over the Priv. I have been waiting for the Key3; but I no longer expect Blackberry (or its manufacturing partner TCL) to bring the Key3 to market within 6 months - and the world will probably never see the Key3. It was easy to upgrade the Key2 LE to the newest release of Android 8. It seems unlikely that a Android 9 upgrade will be offered for the Key2 LE. I hope that my Key2 LE remains viable for several years since there are no other phones with decent physical keyboards and phones with physical keyboards are not likely to be sold in the future. I also appreciate the security of DTEK and BlackBerry Email. The Key2 LE larger internal memory has solved my issue for adding Apps that did not work from the SD card on the Priv. Battery life on the Key2 LE is very good when I turn off GPS and Bluetooth and use 4G mobile and WiFi. Android 8 also improves several factors. The physical keyboard is excellent for typing long Emails - better than the Priv since the Key2 LE has better balance, so it is easier to hold and type at the same time. I do miss the larger screen of the Priv for web browsing and viewing my security camera video. The Key2 LE dual camera helps with ultra-closeup photos. The auto spell corrector is terrible; so I have turned it off. The spell corrector changes nearly every technological term (financial, legal, microbiological, electronic, chemical, physics, biotech, etc.) to a word that makes sentences meaningless or worse. It will even changed some words that I added to the user dictionary.
