Exactly what I wanted. Cannot be removed without cutting when under the handles. Same quality as regular straps. But with the crosswise built-in and the suitcases having handles I can run them under on both sides, they cannot be removed. Likely if TSA / Customs really has to open without me there, they will simply leave it off and throw it in the bag. They take a little getting used to. And you can only adjust the length when you have the straps roughly in place. (Remember to run them under the handles and even over the pull-out handle when adjusting. You can re-snap closed at the airport after opening again and closing the pull-out handle.) Yes, the adjustment slider is under the strap (wrong side) when using the largest straps on a carry-on size bag. But that is OK, you need to adjust when loose anyway. I was able to mark the positions of that slider for different bags on the underside using a felt tip marker (on the orange ones, it shows nicely). Making it easier to quickly adjust for the different bags.

Strong and visually stands out. I know it's not thief-proof but t's really meant to make it look a little more difficult to break into than the guy next to me. Mission accomplished.

These work great-just as described. A big advantage in using them is that they make it easy to spot your luggage in an area with a lot of similar bags. We did have one slip off a suitcase partially but probably because we didn't get it tight enough. They are a bit of a hassle to deal with but that's what security often requires.

I wanted to like these. They were difficult to adjust. I could tell they were a bear for TSA. They couldn't get them back on right and they were a flapping tangled mess when my bag came down the chute at baggage claim. I am buying different straps for my trip home. Something simpler.

This worked really well for my wife's luggage that had a broken integrated lock. The luggage itself is really nice so we still wanted to use it but wanted to make sure her stuff was secure. It takes a while to figure out how to get it installed but once you figure it out it goes smoothly after that.

My wife and I recently flew on a domestic three-hour flight from Louisville (SDF) to Denver (DEN). Her smaller checked bag was only locked with TSA compliant locks. At our destination, she found a card from the TSA that her bag had been opened and inspected. Not mine (probably considering the difficulty in replacing the straps?). She also noticed a Ziplock bag was taken, which included several USB drives (empty for the most part), a camera remote shutter release and sun hood for the camera lens. The reader may draw his/her/zir/their (ha ha) own conclusions.

Love the color and the strap. It works great while traveling with my hard shell suitcase. It was easy to use and is really durable.
