Swiss Arabian Musk Al Arais - Perfume for Women and Men - Long-Lasting, Musky Floral Fragrance with Buttery, Caramel, and Liquorice - 1.7 oz

I’m glad this isn’t viral. The notes are blended well, the caramel and musk allows the sweetness to be a bit powdery but in a clean way. She’s extremely work appropriate. I noticed she has a matching oil. She’s a safe blind buy for gourmand lovers. Longevity = 3-4hrs. The bottle is big but small…..when you get it you’ll understand. Either way very nice addition to my collection.

I wanted to like this more, but the buttery and floral notes overwhelm each other rather than being complimentary. It's not terrible, but something about it has a very "old" profile. I can't put my finger on it, but there's a note that reminds me of White Diamonds even though the two fragrances are very different (I think it may be the licorice note). It isn't an offensive smell, just, old. I doubt I'll wear this much, but for the price point it's ok. I'm going to let it macerate for a while and will update this review if things improve.

Unlike the previous reviewer, I do have high hopes for the performance of this fragrance both because it's Swiss Arabian and at 75% alcohol content this contains extrait de parfum levels of oil. I also purchased the matching fragrance oil and I'm pleasantly surprised. I think I went into this expecting something closer to vanilla voyage based on the notes and it's not that, but it's also not NOT that. The opening is sweetness followed by very powdery florals, almost baby powdery but the dry down is powdery, buttery caramel. If you like powdery fragrances, marshmallow and caramel I highly recommend.

OMG the scent is insane! I love it but for the price I don't think the scent will last long based on the price. I will update when I gauge the longevity but right now it is amazing!

I will have to allow this to macerate a little longer, but this is sort of powdery, buttery, and addictive. I expected it to be smaller than it was.

Not a classy scent like the description says.
