Melon Melt Niacinamide Serum Primer Smooth Skin Deep Moisturizing for Perfect Makeup

Is this the next dupe for Glow Recipe Watermelon Serum? Because holy cow, it is so much like it- but better. It smells like the Glow Recipe Watermelon scent, and the texture is similar to a serum. This primer is silky and heavier, like a higher quality product, and leaves your skin better after using. It is sticky after you put it on, but the stickiness goes away after you leave it and let it dry (takes about a minute or two). This primer almost instantly gives a dewy, radiant, and smooth finish. It is hydrating, but does not make makeup look oily, and keeps makeup lasting all day. It is safe for acne prone skin, as the ingredients help heal blemishes (my acne starts clearing faster when I use it), and you can wear it alone. It creates a perfect base for a seamless foundation application. The bottle it comes it is so cute! It’s in a weighted glass bottle with a round perfume like top. The pump makes it easier to use, and gives precise amounts of product. Overall, it looks and feels luxurious and not cheaply made. Overall, this is, in all honesty, my new favorite hydrating primer. Actually, all SHEGLAM products are top tier. But this primer is my favorite from them.

When I tell you, I love this primer about this farmer a few months back and I’m already empty. It helps my make up too late and be flawless. I definitely recommend this pain. And the smell is so delightful, it also has a very nice cooling sensation. You have a sense of relaxation when using this product

So I’ve recently been looking for more affordable option for my face care. I love Glow Recipe, however it can add up very quickly. I ordered this Sheglam serum and I have to say I am very impressed. My skin stayed dewy and hydrated all day.

I do love this serum. It is quickly effective against dark marks. In fact, it greatly diminished the large dark spot (and smaller spots) on my chest that have been increasing as I age. Despite the use of continuous applicatios of serums and creams similar, even prescription, this serum worked overnight, almost diminished it over night. It is soft and light with a pleasant melon scent that leaves my again and acne-prone skin moisturized. So of course I want to keep using it, twice a day, alone and under foundation and BB cream; But mostly I pair it with a tinted moisturizer, which has been a beautiful combination. So I ordered another one. BUT the bottles are SO SMALL, by the time I get one, I might as well order another one so I don't have any lapse in treatment. So this brings us back to the question, does it work well enough to put up with the ordering and the unpackaging of the small bottles every two or three days? I really want the answer to be yes but unfortunately it’s no. I don’t even think it would be convenient on a subscription honestly so yes it works very well. It does what it says and it is the first product in a long time that actually works well and does what it says quickly noticeably, but it is so small. It has to be replaced every couple days if not every week and that is just something I don’t have time for. So, sadly, I think I will keep looking for another miracle treatment. 🤷‍♀️

Pleasantly surprised with this product! I am an older make up 'girlie' who has used many products that are similar through out the years and this one was a remarkable discovery and improved my skin surface over minimal time. I apply this product under foundation or tint and the 'SHEGLAM Melon Melt' will help my fondation stay fresh all day with absolutely no color change to fondation or blush;)
