PELEGON SS1 Teal Stainless Steel Shower Stool

This was a perfect fit for our smaller shower. Seems to be very sturdy thanks to the crossbars. It was very easy to put together and is serving the purpose well. Seems to have a decent warranty as well. Height is adjustable. This highest setting is perfect for us and give security in the shower.

Be aware that if you only have one good arm at the moment like me that you may need someone to put it together for you. I'm recovering from a broken bone so I had to order one of these for safety in the shower. As I only have one working arm at the moment, I was kind of amazed that literally none of it was pre-assembled yet it arrived in a box big enough to hold it as one piece. It was a bit of a struggle for me to put it together with one arm/hand, and I usually have problem putting things I've purchased together. Also the washers they provided were useless and the curve of them didn't fit the curve of the bars and that made it impossible to screw the screws securely in, so I left them out and was able to turn them all the way in with no problem. I was also annoyed that they didn't even attach the seat pad to the stool...cmon, you could at least ship this item with that already attached especially as it's just an adhesive backing. One more plastic bag to dispose of... So for these reasons I can't give this stool five stars. On the plus side, it's fairly easy to adjust the height of the legs and the stool accomplished its purpose - I was able to securely shower and wash my hair for the first time in two weeks since I was injured. I think the manufacturer should keep in mind its customers are ordering one because they have limitations and may not have someone else living in the household to help them assemble it.

I first bought a wider chair, which was fine except for the space it consumed. So I ordered this one and we are both comfortable with it in the tub. You can even turn it sideways to straddle the seat. It is well made, and I expect it to last for a long time.

Rugged and easy to assemble

I'm recovering from a broken leg. I have a fold-down seat in my shower, but it takes up a lot of room, so I ordered this. My nephew put it together for me, folded up the big, existing seat, and I'm good to go. It's small enough that I now have sufficient room to stand when I shower and sit down when I wash my feet and legs.
