This distiller does what it’s supposed to — produces clean distilled water. It’s especially helpful if you have plants that are sensitive to tap water minerals. It does take a few hours per cycle and makes some noise, but nothing extreme. Easy to clean. Great alternative to constantly buying distilled jugs.

I have been using this everyday for a little over a month, I keep it in the garage as it is very noisy, its operation is great, I have to agree with many of the other reviewers and ay do not let it auto shut off, it is a lot harder to clean when you do, I get about 1.5 gallons each run of 4-5 hours

This water distiller is relatively quiet, about as loud as the fan that I use while I'm sleeping. It gives off warm air, not hot air at all. I am confident in setting it on my counter and allowing the warm air to hit my cupboards above without any worry. It is a perfect addition to reduce waste by not having to buy distilled water from a store. I plan on using the water for a CPAP machine and air humidifier.

We have these for use both at home and in our travel trailer. At home it clears up the heavily chlorinated water in our area. You can literally taste the improvement in coffee and tea. When camping on and off grid we've distilled lake and stream water for safe drinking. It's potentially a real survival tool! If you use distilled water in appliances like coffee pots and steam irons you'll never have problems with calcium buildup. For campers: please distill your campground's "potable" water if you intend to drink it or cook with it.
