I bought this monitor mainly to use it with Samsung Dex and for mirroring my laptop. Haven't had any connection problems. The very thin bezels and lightweight design make it easy to carry around. The 4K display is sharp and the colors look good. One thing that's really great about this monitor is how bright it gets. I usually keep it around 30-40% for indoor use. It's perfect for watching videos and reading text since everything looks crisp. The speakers are pretty weak but that's expected for something this thin. I just use headphones anyway so it's not a big deal to me. Would've been nice if they included a battery so you could use it without being tethered to a power source. If this thing also had touchscreen OLED 120hz display, it'd be the perfect portable monitor. Would like to see that on future Newsoul monitors. Customer support has also been really quick to respond with issues I had with the monitor. For the price point it's a solid choice compared to other portable monitors out there. Would recommend it.

Great picture and brightness. Generous screen size while still also very portable. It might be more expensive than some other options on here, but you get what you pay for. Unsurprisingly, the speakers are not great; not much you can do with a thin screen like this. It also comes with everything you need right out of the box, even for M series MacBook Pros. The case is nice and allows you to prop it open, and it is compatible with mounting options. Overall, great quality product and exactly what I needed.

I bought this monitor as a second monitor for taking on trips. I work remotely and can be much more productive with a second monitor. I previously purchased another 4k portable display, but that one has been permanently mounted as a third display at my desk at home. This one is very solidly built, and comes with a very nice case, so I feel confident packing it around in my backpack with my laptop. The display is sharp and clear, and the color looks good to me. The sound from the display is much better than usual, and that is a nice bonus for a portable display. I tested it with my work laptop and also plugged into my iPhone and the results were excellent. I was able to watch a baseball game that I could only get on my phone, in 4k, while on vacation. It’s really the perfect size, bigger than my other portable display, but not too big to pack around. I’m very happy with the purchase and am tempted to use it at home as well, but I may need a bigger desk.

So i happen to have 2 more monitors from the same company, all different models. And let me tell you i am beyond impressed by all 3 of them! Not only the price ranges are very affordable, but they also include everything you will need to use the monitors, all the cables, and the necessary 30W charging block to power some of the monitors. This particular model monitor, has extremely clear 4K for movies, games, or just reading or viewing something on it. This monitor is extremely thin for what is packed inside, and the protective leather flip case is amazing for portability, and keeping it safe from elements. And the built-in menu is very easy to get used to with LOTS of options for customization! One thing that stuck out to me about this monitor is that it can reach brightness that are almost double what my other models are capable of... And i mean this thing has to be turned DOWN sometimes because its so bright. Which makes this monitor AMAZING to use outdoors for camping and such! I have also used their customer service many times for repairs or general questions and they have been super quick to response and are very eager to help resolve the issue in anyway possibly. 10/10 for customer service as well. I would not hesitate to continue purchasing monitors from these guys as you feel like they are there to take care of you if something happens. Thanks for great Monitors for great prices!!

I bought this monitor because it claimed to be bright, and I wanted something that would pair well with my 5K iMac display, which is one of the better panels out there. I had a similar 16" 2560x1600 monitor that I used with my other Mac setup and wanted something at least as good. This edition (4K, 3840x2400, 1200 nits) appears to be a well made product. It comes up as 1920x1200 on the Mac (3840x2400 becomes 1920x1200 due to quad pixel density), which is a good size for readability and very sharp. I use it as a secondary screen for reading a lot of code and text, and the readability is very good, with sharp text on a deep black background. I use the USB-C cable to my Mac, and that provides both power and connectivity. A right angle USB cable helps make the monitor look better. It does flash a poorly worded message at startup that I believe may be related to less than full power from a single USB-C cable but it goes away in a few seconds. It does not flicker and is plenty bright. I run it at 70% brightness and it is similar in brightness to my Mac display, though I run the Mac at about 70% brightness also. This is not an HDR display (does not even have HRD as an option). Minor complaint: It is a little thicker than some of the portable monitors that are out there, but I don't use it for that purpose. In general, this is a strong choice. Also, it appears to be made by the same factory in China that make the UPerfect brand of monitors because the box, packaging and internal cables look identical.
