Alpine Corporatio 14" Tall Stoned Jar Cascading Water Fountain with LED Lights, Elegant Tabletop Water Feature for Home, Office, Living Room, and Bedroom Decor, Gray

Built a bioactive terrarium/vivarium for my crested rainforest gecko. Wanted a fountain to cycle the water through the substrate and also act as a water dish for my little guy. This was perfect. I installed a 95 GPH pump in the substrate so it would have enough power to give it a 2.5 foot lift (I doubt the pump it came with would have the power for what I needed). I was able to connect the tubing of my pump to the original tubing of the fountain so aesthetically it would appear to function how it was designed with the water coming out and flowing how it is shown. Setting it up with the higher powered pump allows the water in the substrate to get filtered all the way through the system to clean and maintain the water, while allowing it to flow out of the front of the fountain so I don't have to ever clean my gecko's "water dish". It also maintains the humidity of my tank and waters my plants. I took netting and wrapped a ball of small rocks. I placed the ball directly under the front of the fountain going out a few inches. Then I put a small layer of soil over them and covered it with a plant that likes to be continually wet. The rocks allow the water to flow through without soaking the surrounding soil so that my other plants don't get overwatered. I hope all of this makes sense because this is the kind of info I was looking for when I was trying to figure out how to build my vivarium. I really like that this fountain looks very natural while also having the small "pond" at the bottom. I found it to be the perfect size for my tank which is 12x12x24. It's pretty quiet, a small tinkling like you are somewhat close to a small stream. With my tank door closed I can hardly hear it. If you are looking for a fountain for your tank, this is perfect in appearance and function!

Love this. It’s quite heavy when filled. The door in back is somewhat awkward. And the light needs to be not so bright. Covered with seashell. Other than those very minor issues, this the best indoor fountain I have ever had. Lovely, with just the right amount of water sound

Product is packaged very well so no damage done during shipment. Looks great and I like that the LED light is just under the bottom water fall area and makes the bottomed basin seem to have a nice glow to it. I've been looking for a fountain that would produce the nice gentle stream water trickle sound and this hits closer than any others I've gotten. I have to give 1 star for the sole reason that in less than an hour, the water basin was empty and the water all over the counter. This was not from a leak be from the splashing of the water out of the basin. I expect a small amount but not for the water to be below safe operating levels within an hour of usage. This could be prevented simply by making the area where the water runs into larger to accommodate the splashing, or making the basin deep enough to accommodate the splashing and still provide adequate water coverage of the pump. The pump is rather noisy as well. If you are going to have this as a decorative piece setting somewhere without the water running, then this is fine. As a functional indoor fountain, I would not recommend this purchase at all and fully intend to send this back. Very upsetting because it is very nice looking but just not functional.

So far, so good! I bought this for my snake’s cage, hoping to add enrichment, humidity and use as an added water source. I’ve kept his regular water dish in his cage to ensure he’s drinking. PROS: Seems good quality (back closure is great) It’s easy to set up Looks nice Adjustable flow Love the sound of water Nice night light CONS: (not really cons, just preferences) A bit smaller than I’d like Splashes out when at a high flow (no biggie) Frequently requires refill under reptile lights Generally, I love it and hope Humphrey will, too. I’ve added pictures and a video; please excuse the music, chatter and Christmas decor in the background…we decorated his cage for Christmas. lol

Latest Update as of 10/15/25: Well the old fountain finally quit working. I was happy that it lasted as long as it did so I when saw the same fountain on sale I bought another. One thing that is different with the new model is the ability to disconnect the LED lights if you don't care for them. I personally thought they were much too bright for this particular style and had covered them by rocks with my old fountain. Yes, you can still physically see where the lights are located but that can be very easily covered. On the new model there is a separate plug for the lights and you have the ability to disconnect them if you want. Another update to the new model is that the pump seems to be stronger, and it truly gives out a trickling sound. People who work in my office building will come sit by it, they call it "The Zen Corner". I've added a 3rd picture of the new fountain with the lights unplugged. I did place a small rock over where they are located to cover them I absolutely LOVE this fountain and setup was so easy I had it setup & going in 5 minutes. UPDATE: I added back the last star because I have ran this fountain every single day since I got it and it has become the "Zen" spot for the entire office. LOVE THIS FOUNTAIN!!! This fountain is exactly what I've been looking for. It's beautiful, and with the pump at the highest level it gives off the perfect amount of water sound. I have only had it running for a few hours but so far I have not heard the pump at all. The reason I took off a star is because when it arrived the tubing that connects to the pump was not connected at all and no where in the directions did it tell me to do this. Thank goodness I have very small hands because the space inside was very hard to work in. Once I had it connected it worked perfectly. My friend came into my office and saw it and immediately asked me to send her a link to it so she can get one for her office.

This product is dangerous. After setting it up and carefully reading the instructions, I plugged it in it tripped my fuses. It didn't come supplied with a UK plug fitted (CE product violation) or a European adaptor supplied (CE product violation) I have a European adapter I use with my Philips shaver. It works fine. All I did was to switch the product on, after following the installation and setup correctly. I smelt an electrical burning smell and then I was left in complete darkness.

The brightness of the white LEDs is likely needed, and probably look good, if the fountain is outdoors. However, for indoor we found them to be too harsh. We mitigated the issue by adding blue lava stones which we had laying around. We're pleased with the results. The sound of the running/dripping water is very pleasant and easily overcomes the sound of the pump.

I love my water fountain.....it looks great next to my dining table for ambiance.
