I’ve never done anything like this before.... I’m more of a paper craft person, and the most time I’ve spent with thread and needle is knitting scarves 10 years ago (and I wasn’t very good at that). But I like to try new things, and I’ve just recently moved and wanted to decorate my house with some handmade decor. This kit is a great value for the price! It came with the hoop, more than enough thread, and two needles! The printed pattern is very clear and easy to follow, and the little sheet of instructions on what stitch to use and how to do it is clear enough (and anything I don’t understand I just watch a tutorial on YouTube). I’m about 3 hours into the project already and I didn’t want to put it down last night. I was up until 2am stitching away! It’s fun, simple and it’s going to look very cute next to my collection of cacti!! Thank you for a great quality product, and for allowing me to add another hobby to my ever growing stack!

This kit was a great starter kit for me and pretty easy & quick to complete!

I got this for my new baby granddaughters room. The cool part is that I took it with me to my 7 year old granddaughter’s house and taught her some stitches with it, and so she added her little stitches to it also. The directions were pretty easy to understand and it turned out sweet.

I had a blast doing this print. It was simple, and quick. Huge fan of the end result. My only complaints are that the thread scissors came coated in grease...so aggressively so that I soaked them in Dawn, and even after, they were too slimy to hold (plus the oil got on the canvas and required spot treatment), and that the hoop broke IMMEDIATELY. I have other hoops around the house...but none this small. I fixed it with some heavy duty tape (fresh out of wood glue and the patience for it to dry) and used some other thread sheers no problem. Honestly, I would have forfeit the sheers for a better hoop.. ah well.. I was a little bummed, my quick fix meant the hoop didn't hold tension well and I got some fabric bunching...but the final product is something I'm pleased with as a novice embroiderer.

LOVED THIS. It's soooo cute and I really enjoyed doing it. Comes with extra string for every color which was nice as it was my first time and ruined a few strands while learning the different knots. The instructions aren't great and I had to look up how to do certain knots but overall it was good. Packaging isn't great if you're looking to give it as a gift but that's an easy fix

Do not hesitate, purchase now! Especially if you want to keep yourself busy and be creative. Definitely a great purchase for a beginner. In the past I have always been bad at sewing, but I have a background in art and wanted to give this a try. This was a first for me and I am very happy I chose this exact product to start with. It’s awesome to learn as you go with this, the instructions are helpful. I did look at YouTube videos to get s better visual of the stitchings. Recommend this for sure. Get it and have fun with it! Also, everyone I shared this with loved the quote.

Country Roads: It is a cute road trip type pattern and is definitely beginner-friendly. Note: the colors of thread provided don't match the finished product image. Instead of light grey, I got a mossy grey. Instead of a brownish beige, it's more peach. Other than that, it is an easy pattern. Spring: another cute pattern, but *check to make sure all of the floss colors are included and in the correct spot.* I started the pattern and then realized black wasn't included, and the colors on the 10-18 card were in the wrong spots.

Loved it. Super cute. Made it as a gift for a friend while visiting Arizona in less than 2 hours while relaxing in my hotel room before our meet up.

Good product (frame in picture was bought separately though). The instructions are kind of wonky, but the stitches are pretty basic so just head over to YouTube if you don't know how to do them. This is perfect for beginners!
