Very nice monitor! I can see everything day or night and never had an issue with the connection. Easy to set up. Only issue is I wish the back button wasn't also the mic button. You press it a little too long and risk waking the baby.

This "HelloBaby No WiFi Baby Monitor with Voice-Activated Night Vision" saved my 95 year old mothers life; quite literally!. My mother after having a fall, was given some meds that caused Massive Hallucinations; so bad that she rolled out of bed running from something bad and fell again and cut her head. Took her off the meds and for weeks have been dealing with getting them out of her system. For 4 days and nights she would get up and try going outside, etc. This camera system literally saved her life because I was able to set it up to monitor her bed and whenever she would start to get up, I would immediately be able to get up and into the room to help calm her down. Since using the camera we had no other experiences and finally all hallucinations are gone. But I would never have been able to go thru this without this camera system! Thank you so much for this camera! with audio, video, two-way talk and so much more, this is a perfect camera if you need to monitor a baby or child or an elderly adult!!

Good picture quality, it is helpful that the monitor has an audio activation setting. It was so easy to set up and start using, and if you need to move it to a different room, it only takes a few seconds to start back up. Throughout the house and even in the backyard, there is no lag and the picture is clear.

We’ve had this HelloBaby monitor for about two years now, and it’s been awesome. The picture is clear, even at night, and it's nice to be able to turn the screen off. The small size is also a plus, but it's clear enough for us to see the baby. I like that it doesn’t use WiFi, so we never have to worry about apps or connection issues. The range is good, and the battery still lasts a long time. Overall, it’s been really reliable and easy to use. Definitely recommend it if you just want something simple that works.

This is our second purchase of this product. We really loved our experience using the single Hello Baby camera system, and needed to upgrade to multiple cameras as we had more children. So far we still love it! Things I love about it: - This system is not connected to or reliant on the internet in any way. - The ability to set a 10 second rotation between cameras so I can keep an eye on my children without having to manually switch the view. -Two way talk capability The large, simple display and minimal buttons The only cons I have are 1) There is no time/clock display — they had it on the single camera system and I miss it. 2) Periodically there is a popping sound coming from one of the cameras, and it can only be fixed by adjusting the angle of the cord where it connects with the camera.

I just switched from a WiFi monitor to this one and I am so happy I did. This monitor is as simple as can be to use and there are no connectivity issues. The sound and video quality are perfect. I love that this particular model came with wall plugs as well. I don’t need them to be cordless so no worry about the battery running low. I needed a simple monitor for my grandson so when my daughter-in-law suggested this one I was thrilled. It’s simple to use and a great price too.

I’m so skeptical of good reviews after having used this product myself. I knew it was a toss-up for the price but was willing to give it a chance. I purchased this as a secondary monitor, so I wasn’t being picky. We already have a very expensive, top notch InfantOptics monitor that we love but keep it in the baby’s nursery. He’s not quite ready to sleep in his crib at night yet, so we wanted a cheap monitor for our bedroom, too. We didn’t need it to do all the things. The most important features to me are probably no wifi, the ability to turn/rotate the camera remotely, and night vision. This HB monitor does have all of that, but with bare minimum performance in each category. The video monitor is junk. The UI is so clunky and dated it reminds me of an old Nokia cell phone. The live video kept lagging, chugging, and freezing. Picture quality was decent, even so. But the screen on the monitor would periodically glitch out and freeze. I couldn’t believe I was having issues with signal even though I was just down a short hallway in the living room from my bedroom. My house is fairly open concept, so not a lot of walls between. I was using my PS5 at the time, and I think I saw another reviewer mention their monitor quit working after they bought a PlayStation. Not sure if that is related, but my other baby monitor has no issues when my PlayStation is on, so this is not acceptable, either way. Another con worth mentioning is that I discovered through extensive research how HappyBaby monitors are incompatible with most universal baby monitor mounts due to their weird proprietary mounting parts, which is a major inconvenience. You can’t simply screw a universal mount into the bottom of the HappyBaby cameras as you can with most baby monitor cameras. I would have had to purchase an adapter for this, in addition to a mount. All of the extra spending would have negated the point of choosing such an inexpensive monitor in the first place. I was willing to give wall mounting a try because I read in reviews that mounting hardware is included with this, even though I couldn’t find that info anywhere in the product description to confirm. I had my husband box it back up before we got to that point and we just moved our IO monitor into the bedroom. Mainly due to the unreliable video feed, I can’t recommend this monitor to anyone even as a backup.

This unit works well. It connects super easy..no instructions needed, which is great because not many are provided. The video feed is smooth and clear. The video sound is as good as one needs it to be but I don’t use the lullaby music as I think it sounds a bit tinny. I really don’t need date/time but it was an easy set up. I love the temperature sensor as the thermostat for that floor is in the master bedroom and the temps in baby’s room get much cooler with the door closed so I can check the monitor to assure it is warm enough without having to go in and chance the baby waking up just to check a temperature gauge. The quirks - After a year of using (only at grandma’s house, so not real often) I have noticed it beep once for no apparent reason 🤷‍♀️ Another time, late at night, the screen came on for no reason. Wouldn’t you know, it was late at night and I was up alone when it happened. Batteries were good so that wasn’t the problem. Not sure why it did this. Tried to troubleshoot but there is no product support on their web HELLO BABY page. At all! Just a contact. I found it really odd that one can’t even find a user guide for it. I throw all my manuals away when I get something set up because I know I can get them online but I should have kept this one. How does a person do any troubleshooting if you don’t have one? For that reason, I gave this product only 4 stars.
