Keeps my laptop cool
This comes preassembled and ready to go. I had to plug it into a USB port for power. The power and function button is right next to the Usb connection. It keeps my Lenovo Legion 7i laptop very cold even with heavy use with games or animation rendering. It isn't very loud to boot! It fits perfectly under my laptop with little protruding from under it.

Works fantastic.
This cooling pad works great and is very quiet! The vents are perfectly placed for my Omen max 16. The build quality is great even with it being plastic and its very sturdy.

It's just ok to me. But better then not having one
I probably just had to high an expectation due to marketing leading to 3 stars. I purchased this as the LM had become uneven on my laptop cpu due to pump out and this was a stop gap till i could have time to fix it. Well it did help a bit on normal 7° i'm in an office with other people so i cant run it on kill mode it's to loud even being on of the quieter options out there. I did finally do a fix with some PTM7950 and the cooler now on helps like 5° on normal so... It's just ok better than a bunch of tiny fans going different speeds like the old school ones i'm used to.

Major cooling with less noise!
Cons: It’s a bit thick. The software tells me it has disconnected when it hasn’t. Pros: almost everything else. I bought this because in order to play on my new gaming laptop I need to keep the fans so loud that I have tinnitus the next day. Since getting this cooler it’s been so much better. I can actually play and participate in conversations in the room that I couldn’t even hear before I bought it. I really like the software too. The height adjustment works but it’s also the flimsiest part. I leaned on it and it collapsed BUT it didn’t break so it’s a pro. Bottom line: would definitely recommend

Quiet and effective for me.
I have a HP Omen Max 16 (Intel Core 9 Ultra 275HX + 5080) and it sufficiently cools my laptop. The highest setting is quieter than max laptop fans in terms of noise. The cooling factor works quite well when I'm maxing out both my cpu and my gpu as well. Max temps I've seen with my OC on my gpu was 70c with it mostly being between 58~65c. On my cpu, the temps range from around 70~80c for the most part depending on how cpu intensive the games are. It works for me and is quite quiet in terms of laptop fan noise.

Good product
Excellent product. I waited. Couple months before posting my opinion. With three air flow levels, is pretty quite compares to other ones I purchased. For my laptop, I intentionally left some space between the cooling pad and the laptop around the sides. The pad it’s a little bit bulky. But it does the jobl

Meh
Super weird, uncomfortable, and awkward design, the legs are pretty atrocious, the extender is pretty atrocious and it's huge and fat and takes up a lot of space and I didn't notice a single digit of temperature difference when using this cooler

Cools efficiently and very quiet
Purchased for my son who says it keeps his laptop very cool while using AutoCAD and while gaming.
A**.
After trying and going through at least 4 different pads over the years, this one finally seems to be the one with the goods. The 'seal' works well to contain sound and extraneous airflow. Nothing more annoying to me than trying to work while a jet of air blasts your face and wrists. Haven't powered it externally to get the max fan output, but for a Precision 5550 that gets hot enough to be uncomfortable, it works a treat even on setting 2. Not the most comfortable straight on your lap or legs because of a few sharp molded edges, but it's more designed to be on a flat, hard surface. Other than that, highly recommended.
