Nice piece of kit. Easy to fit/install. To be honest I rarely use it with the keyboard. However the case doesn't cover the edges when you use it this way. But the stand is sturdy and very versatile and allows for a ton of different viewing angles. When travelling the keyboard adds a layer of safety against impacts on the screen, then it is closed. The track pad is smooth and responsive. The pen is hidden away in a small compartment which is magnetic and dots on the back. The only issue with that is that it doesnt sit flat when you lat it down. But you will rarely use a tablet flat anyway

Since getting this my tab s9 ultra has become my daily driver. My laptop is sitting there staring sadly at me wondering what it's done. I told it it wasn't it's fault just Windows getting between our love. Meanwhile using dex has been a joy. Frustration free. Oh and want to go without keyboard then it's easy. The magnets make it a breeze to remove and rejoin the keyboard. The kickstand is great. Honestly a game changer. I've also been experimenting with xbox cloud gaming so in conjunction with this and the tablet and a controller it's been good. Dex is really good. The only criticism is that I wish it had a usb port like the iPad keyboards so that I could leave the cable plugged in when on the desk and just disconnect the tablet when going awondering.

IMPORTANT: YOU NEED TO UPDATE YOUR S9 TAB ULTRA TO THE LATEST ONEUI UPDATE OR THIS KEYBOARD WILL SIMPLY NOT WORK AND APPEAR BROKEN. The keyboard is nice, feels good to type on and i was surprised it didnt turn out to be fake for the asking price as its over £300 on Samsung. A few issues of note: Firstly, its a BIG keyboard, i have long fingers and even then it feels like im doing some travelling. I dont mind this too much it just takes some getting used to. I much prefer a spacious keyboard to a crammed one. Secondly, at first it didnt work. Just a heads up: If you are purchasing this for an S9 Tab Ultra, you'll need to make sure your software is fully updated as of the time of this video, as it simply will not pick up the keyboard on older versions. This will become less of a problem as time goes on. Thirdly, weight... Shes heavy. Man shes heavy. Like, my entire laptop isnt as heavy as this once you put the tablet in.. Im a fit able young(ish) guy, so im not too bothered. Just be aware if weight saving is your thing, this is not the way to go. Lastly, fingersprints.... Never in my entire existence have i witnessed a product so GOOD at maintaining fingerprints. Not only do you just have to look at the thing for fingerprints to appear, but they are stubborn to even wipe off! Police should save money on ink pads and just buy this thing to take suspects fingerprints; its seriously good. I'd keep a nice cloth with you when using this. Overall i like it. Most importantly; it extends the usefulness of an already phenomenal tablet, and thats a win.

So it functions as a protective outer layer, a stand and a laptop style chiclet keyboard. It is useful in a pinch and definitely easier to use than the tablets screen when typing, but suffers from usability issues when typing longer documents. Unresponsive keys and a sensitive periphery around the track pad can lead to unwanted clicks and mistyping on a fairly regular basis. At the price point its expensive compared to its additional functionality and I think if you were looking at this set up to replace a conventional laptop, I would look again.

Expensive but worth the outlay to effectively turn your tablet into a laptop. The magnetic grio that attaches the keyboard is strong and this then links and powers the keyboard so no bluetooth required. The cover section is solid and well made with good secure area for the pen and a strong stand flip out. Happy despite the high price.
