I recently picked up an HP Envy x360 laptop, and decided it would be a great time to change the setup on my desk to take advantage of the new hardware. I use the laptop both at and away from my desk, and I didn't want to mess with USB, power, and video cables every time I change locations. I also wanted support for multiple 4k@60 monitors, ethernet connectivity, and lots of USB-C ports. This docking station has been a perfect solution that has met all of my needs. With everything plugged into the docking station, I only need to unplug one cable when I go on the road. I added a 300w charging brick on my desk to power the dock and several other device chargers. That way, I can leave the original HP power supply in my laptop bag instead of having to pack it up every time. I really like the layout of this docking station, with ports on all four sides of the unit. I have most of the ports in use, and it's nice to have more room to route the cables. The laptop cable extending from the docking station is only about 11in (28cm) long, so I also added a short Thunderbolt extension cable so I can keep the docking station and cables out of the way. I have monitors, external hard drives, and other peripherals attached to the docking station and everything is working great. I did run into one odd situation that took some troubleshooting. When I first set things up, it would occasionally "forget" my HDMI monitors and the only way to get them back was by power cycling the docking station. After some Googling, I discovered an issue with the USB configuration in Windows 11. USB controllers can be configured to power down after a certain amount of time to save power. I disabled that feature in Device Manager (in the Power Management tab under each USB controller's properties), rebooted the computer, and everything has been fine since! All that to say that I am really happy with this docking station. My desktop is neater since all of the cables are out of the way, and transitioning to and from working at my desk is much quicker and easier. If this dock has the right assortment of ports for your application, I would highly recommend it!

The ANYOYO USB-C Hub with 4K@60Hz output is a well-engineered, reliable, and highly capable compact hub that performs exactly as required for modern laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. Its core strength is signal stability: the HDMI port consistently delivers a clean, full-bandwidth 4K60 image with no flicker, handshake delays, or colour compression issues that cheaper hubs often suffer from. Whether driving a single high-resolution monitor or using it in a presentation setup, the video output remains solid and dependable. Build quality is excellent for the size. The aluminium housing provides proper heat dissipation without getting excessively warm under load, and the ports are reinforced to avoid the flex or looseness that develops over time in lower-quality hubs. The cable is well sleeved, firm enough to hold shape, and not prone to fraying. Internally, the hub clearly has decent power management: when using HDMI, USB-A peripherals, and USB-C passthrough simultaneously, there are no dropouts, lag spikes, or unexpected disconnects. The USB-C PD passthrough is properly rated and delivers stable power, maintaining full charging speed on supported devices without throttling. This is essential when running a laptop, storage devices, and an external display from a single port. The USB-A ports offer clean data transfer with no controller bottleneck, making them suitable for SSDs, keyboards, and other peripherals. Transfer speeds remain consistent even when multiple devices are active. The compact form factor makes it useful as an everyday carry tool. It fits easily into a tech pouch, adds minimal weight, and replaces several separate adapters. The layout of ports is practical, with enough spacing to avoid connector clashes. Despite its size, it feels structurally rigid and solidly constructed. Compatibility is broad and reliable. It works seamlessly with Windows laptops, MacBooks, iPads with USB-C, and even phones that support DisplayPort Alt Mode. Driver-free setup keeps it straightforward, and the hub behaves predictably across devices—an important point for users who mix work and travel environments. Overall, the ANYOYO USB-C Hub is a technically sound, well-built, and highly functional piece of kit. It delivers stable 4K@60Hz video, dependable data throughput, and reliable power delivery without the overheating, flicker, or intermittent failures that plague many hubs in this price range. A strong, effective choice for anyone who needs a compact but capable USB-C expansion solution.

As someone who made the transition from laptop primary to iPad Pro primary, I’ve been searching for a hub that would permit use of a bus-powered USB-C portable display without a second connection for power. Most of the solutions are great but huge & expensive (massive thunderbolt docks) or larger with integrated cables. I’m just not a fan of integrated cables in my hubs. This hub is simple, small, lightweight, and amazingly consistent when using with a sufficiently rated USB-C PD adapter. For anyone experiencing issues with dropped connections, it’s possible there are too many bus powered accessories with insufficient mains power. I have not yet experienced any downside or issue with the three I’ve purchased: they work as expected and without surprises. The only wish I have is that sometime soon, a USB 4 or 5 or Thunderbolt 4 or 5 version will be released.

This is a great compact hub to use with Samsung dex. The PD input allows for a battery bank to charge the phone and power an external monitor. The 10gbps output works with an external display with touchscreen capability.
