What a great product. It comes up high enough that my mother can help me up from the seat. I've been looking for a solid seat for myself because the four legged frame with arms was getting wobbly and I never found a single seat that was high enough for me. I have a neurogenerative disease so my caregiver helps me get up from the toilet. This has everything -- sturdiness, handles, handles that lift, easy to clean, and it comes up very high so you're almost standing. It doesn't much help to get up. I would recommend this to someone who can't use their legs too much like me.

Larger than expected. Padding on the seat would be an improvement. However, it works great!! It does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I have trouble getting off the toilet due to knee and hip issues. With this, I can stand up easily without putting all my weight on my knees. I have not used the lift, other than to make sure it works. It does! That is confidence building for those of us who struggle a bit or have major surgery. It was very easy for my kids to install for me. I am VERY grateful to have this; I highly recommend this to anyone who experiences difficulties due to surgery, injuries, arthritis or any other challenges.

This is a back saver. My husband can no longer walk or stand on his own. I use sit to stand to take him to toilet wears gait belt then I put him on toilet and when finished I had too pull him up with gait belt . Their were times had to call for help because I could not get him up. My back and ribs would be hurting. Then I saw this like night and day so glad I got. No more struggling trying too get him up and worrying I was going too injure my back . One thing dont care for is seat is metal cold to sit on

This product is hard to rate. Mixed opinions but ultimately it did not meet our needs. First off, we tested it on a multitude of heights ranging for 6’1” to 5’4”. Each family member who tried it, while in a seated position, their feet did not touch the floor while sitting. For my elderly mom at 5’4” with mobility issues, she was not able to get herself back far enough on the seat in order to use. This was mostly due to the fact she could not use her feet to push herself back and has limited upper body strength. While the seat goes from elevated position to seated position you still have to have the ability to position yourself to a certain degree. I wouldn’t recommend for those who lack upper body strength and below 5’7”.

This thing works great. A real life changer for my elderly mother with arthritis. Keeps her from having to have assistance.
