Is there a solvent or dremel attachement that will remove this stuff from bolt threads?

You don't need solvent or dremel. It will keep any screw or bolt from loosening, but you can get the bolt/screw out with a screwdriver and just brush off the Loctite. Very good stuff.

Do I apply this to my doorknob set screw before screwing it in or after? (ie, a drop on top?)

Before. You apply this to the screw threads before screwing in. Make sure you only apply a very little bit. More is not better.

how do I open the sealed tube? do I just poke a hole at the top?

I think it's best to use a thumbtack, safety pin, etc. to poke a hole into the flat tip. This will give you "droplet-sized control" in application.

can this be used in glasses? The screws that hold the lenses in place?

No, it is designed for larger screws. Use Loctite 222 for small screws.

Each tube is packaged individually, I've got one with my gun stuff, one in the garage tool box, one in my leatherman sheath, and the rest in the packaging in a closet. AKA this is enough locktite for life for the average DIYer like me. Good price, OEM as far as I can tell. Just get the 12 pack and consider your locktite needs met till Valhalla.

Rating is mostly due to only receiving 1 tube of threadlocker when it should have been a 12-pack. It's a generally good product, though it can be runny & difficult to control the application.
