Blood Stop Pad that are larger than the little squares from local drug stores. These pads are 2x2 inches and cover a good area on your skin! No Leaks and quickly stops bleeding remember to put pressure on the pad for several minutes. On Blood Thinners, then this is a good product to have on hand. FDA approved!

If nothing else, these can save a lot of mess in a heavy bleeding situation. They will plug a leak faster than any other way. Note that these are small, 2 x 2, but it's pretty amazing how much they will absorb and capture in the milliseconds before they form a "clot." Instead of watching blood seep into and around whatever you have used to apply pressure to a wound while waiting for the flow to stop, you put one of these pads on, apply pressure and BOOM, done. At least, so it was when I recently handled a repeatedly hemorrhaging artery for a friend of mine who takes blood thinners. I would definitely recommend keeping these on hand for anyone who takes blood thinners, and it makes sense to keep some in anybody's first-aid kit.

I love that these come wrapped in small batches so I can spread them out across different kits/sites. Excellent value - predictable positive results on small wounds, and easy to cover with other bandages so you don't reopen a wound when changing dressings (some of this will be incorporated into the clot, and you don't want to disturb it when changing bandages). Easy, effective, cheap. Love it.

Not a substitute for TXA but ok.
