This bug zapper actually works
I absolutely love this item. I read the information and I thought well why not because I kept on getting these little different kind of bugs in my apartment. I plugged one in the kitchen, the living room, the bedroom and even out on my patio. I started using these in November 2025 and to date I have zero bugs. You can tell they’re working as the little blue light stays on, but you can hear it work with a zap. Great product happy I purchased this item.

Wanted bug deterrent, got a glowing nightlight instead
I have heard very mixed reviews about whether ultrasonic pest repellers work, so I was a little skeptical before buying this. Still, because I am genuinely terrified of bugs, especially spiders, I decided to try it. Living in the country in Texas means black widows and brown recluses are common outdoors. I have not seen either inside my home, but I wanted to take extra precautions to keep it that way. My house gets professionally sprayed every quarter, but bugs still manage to sneak in when the door is open for only a few seconds at night. They usually end up dead on the floor afterward, but I wanted to try this device to deter them from coming inside at all. Each device makes a short chirping sound when plugging it in, followed by a little blue light that stays on. After that, it becomes completely silent. There is no way to confirm whether it is working. The blue light is the only visible sign that it has power. I placed two of these by my back door, which tends to be a problem area for bugs. I have not noticed any improvement. I have seen bugs crawling on the same wall where one of these is plugged in, which does not give me much confidence in its effectiveness. I have also found the occasional spider inside, even with these running continuously. For a product that claims to repel pests, seeing bugs within feet of it is disappointing. The blue LED light stays on constantly and is bright in dark rooms. It does not block the second outlet but can feel a little cramped depending on the wall plate design. There is no noticeable heat, odor, or ongoing noise once it is plugged in. In comparison, sealing cracks, installing door sweeps, improving weatherstripping, and staying consistent with quarterly pest control have made a far greater difference than these plug-ins. They look nice and sound impressive in theory, but they have functioned more as glowing blue nightlights than actual pest and insect deterrents. I would not rely on these alone. They may offer a sense of security at first, but I have not seen any results that justify the claims.

Recommended pest repellant
I’ve been using this ultrasonic pest repellent for a few weeks now, and it’s been a surprisingly effective solution for keeping bugs and rodents away—without relying on chemicals or traps. How It Works: It uses ultrasonic sound waves to mess with pests’ nervous systems. It’s completely harmless to humans and pets, but for bugs and mice, it creates an environment they can’t tolerate. You won’t hear the sound yourself, but when you plug it in, you’ll notice a soft “beep” and a calming blue light that shows it’s working. Ease of Use: Super easy setup—just plug it into any outlet. That’s it. I like that there's no setup or maintenance, and no need to deal with batteries either. Effectiveness: You’ll need to give it 2–4 weeks to see full results. At first, I actually noticed a slight increase in pest activity (which the instructions said might happen), but after about two weeks, things started to calm down. Now the bugs are basically gone from the areas where I’ve placed the device. Coverage & Placement: Each unit covers about 800–1200 sq ft, but remember the ultrasonic waves don’t go through walls. I placed one in each major room and saw much better results that way. Eco-Friendly Bonus: No chemicals, no poisons, no dead bugs to clean up. It’s a safe and humane way to handle pests, especially if you have kids or pets around. Also, the low energy use is a nice touch—barely uses more power than a night light. Final Verdict: If you're looking for a safe, hassle-free way to reduce pests in your home, this is a solid option. Just be patient during the first couple of weeks and use one in each room for the best results.

Ultrasonic Repellent
I've been using this ultrasonic repellent for a couple of weeks now and, overall, I'm quite satisfied with the results. I bought it primarily to keep mice and insects away from the garage, and so far it's done its job. What I liked: Easy to use: Just plug it in and go. It requires no maintenance or chemicals. Quiet: It doesn't make any annoying noises for humans, and my pets haven't shown any negative reactions. Eco-friendly: Unlike poisons or traps, it's safe for children and pets. It works best in small rooms. It may take a few days to show results, so be patient. For best results, I recommend using more than one if you have a large home or several problem areas.

impressive ultrasonic repeller
Setup was extremely simple: just plug it into a standard outlet and it launched immediately. According to the listing, it uses intelligent frequency conversion across three sound-wave bands (20 kHz-60 kHz) to target a variety of pests. The “chemical-free & odor-free” aspect is appealing. No messy sprays, no strong smell, no visible traps. The listing emphasizes that it’s safe for indoor use around family and (most) pets. In my kitchen and adjacent pantry, after about 1–2 weeks, I noticed fewer small flying insects (gnats/mosquitoes) and fewer ants around the baseboards. In line with user reviews that say: “since I plugged them in… fewer cockroaches, ants, and mosquitoes”The device is unobtrusive — no bright flashing lights, no obvious sound to my ears (though I don’t have ultra-sensitive hearing). Fits well into normal plug-outlet setups.

2025 updated ultrasonic Repeller for insects and mice
One of mine did not light up, but made a sound when I plugged it in. I bought this item twice, because I was mega impressed with the first 4 I bought, and I was going to buy another pack, but I’m not sure now as I can’t send one back, when I use the working 3
