Why did you pick this product vs others?: I chose it to pair with an all-white panoramic view chassis . Its PCB and even the BIOS interface are white, showcasing a strong sense of design consistency. The silver-white armor that covers the entire motherboard is also perfect for creating a modern minimalist style—I love everything about it. As for performance, there’s not much to say—it’s absolutely top-tier. MSI’s BIOS is stable and reliable, and the Wi-Fi module uses Intel solution rather than a cheaper MTK option. I’m currently running DDR5-8000 memory fully stable, and I’m very satisfied.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My gf wanted something to game on and wanted a sleek looking motherboard. i was interested in the back connect motherboards so i showed her it as an option. It was worth the price. She is very happy with it and i had to install her Ultra 9 and it gave me no problems. U can stick 256 gb of ram!! i told her she can basically do a lot on her pc. The frozr guard on the board makes it look nice

Spec wise- it got the job done for a fair price. NVME and PCI 5.0. Back connections make for a pretty case build. I hope the back connection motherboard becomes the standard. No disappointment here.

Excited for the project board series. This is my second MSI Project Zero board. 1st one is the Z790. Went with the Z890 for the i9 Ultra. Overall, great looking board and solid build MINUS for the back USB C port. Upon mounting the motherboard, I noticed the USB C was loose - bad soldering IMO. I plugged in the case USB C panel cable and it broke off the board. Expected higher quality from MSI. Disappointed. Waiting for replacement board and will update the review.

Fantastic motherboard! Make sure you're getting the correct motherboard. The first one I got was front side connections but I wanted to do a Project Zero build in the MSI Mag Pano case so I had to return that one and get this one. This motherboard is loaded with tons of features, punching way above its weight. This board easily competes with other motherboards that cost twice as much.

First of all the way the listing for this thing did not make it obvious that this will not work on 99.9% of the cases compared to the very similar MSI board I thought I was getting. Normally I wouldn't put too much blame on the company since if you look close enough it does show that this is back connect. However I decided to roll with it just to find out that it's almost impossible to find any case this will work with. Not even the company that makes cases makes a case for it!? Supposedly some exist but your gamble because not all back connects fit each other and being able to find the case that you can be absolutely sure this works with is pretty dicey. The worst part is it makes no sense. Why would you put your connectors right where the screws have to go? This will not even work on my open test bench because the screws attach to things therefore things are in the way. They literally could have moved the connectors up down left to right easily to make this case fit on many double chamber or open case designs. You literally need one of the two custom cut out cases available or you need standoffs at least 50 mm long and hope the board doesn't bend under that sort of stress

What a WOW motherboard. PZ for a reason. Only time had an issue was putting screws, there are cavities where screws go, hand to struggle get it out by putting the motherboard in air and reversing it and giving it a shake. This all when all components installed
