Fun little rc car. It runs great on some off road rc parks I've taken it to and keeps up with some of my friends' cars that have been modified

Nice model, body detaches easily, and that's a good thing because you have to unplug the battery from the control module in order to shut the truck off. Good control and decent speed and also came with the trailer hitch! The remote is way too big compared to others and the straight axles are not differentials like on the FMS RC 1/25 model. There is no remote function to turn the lights on and off, and the reverse function requires double activation after forward movement, which did not change after following instructions on to do so.

Great product from traxxas thing looks real

I am A big Traxxas fan, this little Trx 4m is an awesome truck, first the scale k-10 Chevy body is absolutely stunning, it’s crawling ability is pretty good considering it’s A high trail. I was surprised at how well it runs as either A crawler or trail truck it may be small but it delivers, also the battery has A long run time I get 20 to28 minutes of run time. If your looking for A mini crawler you can not go wrong with the traxxas high trail truck

This is a good truck and there are a ton of aftermarket parts for it. I like that aspect which makes it fun. It's also very easy to work on. Out of the box, the motor wasn't strong enough for crawling, IMO. You can get lower range gears (9776R) for about 5 bucks and that makes it a lot more fun as a crawler. I've the Redcat Ascent 18 Scout II brushed and that motor and gear combo is better out of the box. If you don't mind spending money for upgrades, this is a great platform. It works fine out of the box, but compared to the Redcat, I had to do something about the motor shortcomings. The controller is also comically large with a relatively small trigger and is super basic. The biggest reasons to buy this would be the look, which is great, and the ready availability of hop-up parts. If you don't want to customize, I'd consider something else. But again, it's really easy to work on with parts from Traxxas or others. I might get either the brushless or 2 speed transmission next... I've already added injora links, shocks, rims and tires...

Warning if you buy this product you will spend a lot of money on upgrades

I absolutely love this truck! It's perfect for tearing around the house. Very maneuverable for tight places. Can't wait for warmer weather to get it outside.
