2-Tier AV Media Stand, Stereo Racks and Stands, Audio Equipment Cabinet with Speaker Spikes, Entertainment Device Open Air Storage (Dark Wood, 2-Tier)

Decades-long time audiophile and have gone through numerous high end audio gears and racks. I am scaling back my audio system and wanted to try things that has more value than sheer technology and price. I bought 2 4-tiers and 2 2 tiers. These are sturdy and provide excellent isolation from vibrations - almost as well as racks that cost thousands$$$$. I have full size speakers playing at moderate volume right next to a turntable playing a vinyl. No feedback!! Build quality is very respectable and they look stylish. One bad thing is their packaging. The shelvings have very thin styrofoams around them in the box. Almost all shelves have some (crush) damage on the corners as they break through the styrofoam and bang against the box. The white underside shows the mild crush & crumple damages but fortunately, the top sides look ok.

I’ve literally never been compelled to write an Amazon review until now. DO NOT BUY! Quality is terrible and not worth the price at all. Shelves look like they’ve been dropped on the corners on every shelf. The support poles have very poor finishing and are not smooth or flat, and they’re hollow inside. The threading for the connecting screws are done with a single disc that’s barely welded on inside, and one fell out so the pillar is unusable. This has turned my 4 shelf into a 3 shelf stand. I would return it but it’s already been assembled, so I’ve accepted my fate.

1. The factory really needs to up their packing game! Various places of scratches (fortunately on mine they were on the undersides and not visible) and a few chips around the sides. Not enough cushioning around the edges and the box is flimsy. 2. The aluminum legs look nice, but the nuts that are probably glued on the inside are easily detached and that makes it difficult to impossible to tighten them sufficiently. I was able to get three out of four for each level and when weighted with components it will be secure "enough" but it's not optimal. 3. The instructions are a joke. Really. While most people can possibly look at it and figure it out, not everyone has a good ability to determine part-whole relationships and they do need good instructions. The instructions could also caution people about the easily detached nuts. Because the nuts are inside the sealed tubes you will never be able to get to them, either. 4. The "wood" is just wood-grain vinyl. Pretty pitiful for this price. Do yourself a favor and carefully punch through the vinyl with a small knife before trying to put the screws through them.

Looks like one of the expensive racks. The wood veneer not as nice but the aluminum legs are nice and strong with a great look. 1/10 the cost of other brands

This unit is cheaper than other media stands and serves it purpose, but is not top quality so don't expect alot.

Very poor build quality. Assembly requires that a threaded rod be screwed into the metal leg. One of the legs was welded poorly, broke, and the threaded rod fell inside the leg. The stand cannot be assembled or used because of this.

Overall quality is very bad. The metal leg cylinders have poor machining and finishing. The polished metal caps arrived scratched. The vinyl wood grain had mars and wrinkles. Much of this could be avoided if it was packaged properly. It looks like everything was banging around in the box the entire trip from China. I wound up buying two to piece together one good unit.
