Great sediment filter

Seem to be working well, no pressure drop.

For 20 years I used the kind of filters the original owners had used when we bought the house - those string-wound, 5- micron filters. I figured they were fine, our well water tasted good, no complaints except that we constantly got a build up of some kind of blueish sediment in the shower. When the store ran out of them about a year ago, I tried these. Not only a great price, but the 1-micron filtering totally eliminated the blue crud buildup in the showers. Excellent.

Worked for out house filter system

Only filters we use and we have 2 types and a uv filter as we live off rainwater.

I need these filters because my house has a well. It seems to do a good job. I replace it every 2 months because of the sediment that has accumulated on it. And they are very reasonably priced.

Great fit. Easy to install

I have been using these filters for a few years now. They work great for my well water. My well has a lot of sediment that in it and these filters really improve the clarity and smell of my water. They fit my filter housing perfectly. I have to change them about once a month but all filters I have tried had to be changed that often due to the sediment in my water.

Aunque son un poco más largos que los estandart de rotoplas, lo único que tuvimos que hacer fue cortarlos un poquito más largos que los rotoplas, así en el momento de ponerlos en los conos receptores, encajaron a presión, porque los rotoplas poseen en la parte superior e inferior un hule para que encajen en el cono, pero éstos de rotoplas al ser de papel no filtran lo suficiente, en cambio éstos Purenex de 1 micra como no tienen ningún hule en la parte superior e inferior al cortarlos un poquito más largos que los rotoplas se presiona la fibra con las arandelas de la tapa superior y del enbase inferior generando un anillo de sello para que todo el filtro funcione, una bacteria tiene un tamaño de .5 micras, así que este filtro casi detiene las bacterias.

Lo tiene en mis condominio en Mexico y no hat mas calcio en mis agua ni pierda de metal.

Parece que son de buena calidad y embonan completamente.

Good filters. These are the 1 micron filters and I use them secondary to the 5 micron, 4" filter. They work very well in the Geekpure housings as well.
