I have thick and long hair, and it takes a sturdy brush to do the job. This one is just that. Its pink and pretty but don't let that fool you, it is a beast at detangling hair. The bristles are a nice bendy plastic that feels good on your scalp and does a great job of separating and brushing the strands. The wood handle is sturdy, and the little textured bit at the base of the handle is nice, I drop my brushes all the time and that helps a bit. I'm pleased with this brush and have enjoyed using it, you likely will too.

This sturdy brush works great on my wet hair to get out all the tangles and actually massages my scalp. I use it in the shower with conditioner in my hair. Has a cute girly design on it in pink. The hair is easy to remove from the brush after using. This makes a good gift. Good value for the price.
