Simple quality item that’s easy to use, especially if you are purchasing it for someone who is older
I got this for an elder friend who wanted to keep a radio on to keep her service animal companionship in her absence. The product is so simple to use. And this makes a difference when you’re talking about somebody who’s older who wants something simple like in the old days. Easy tune in the volume works great. The speaker is of decent quality.

An impossibly good deal!
For this price just buy it! With its blue tuner display, flashlight, and shortwave features it beats the value out of most others. The DSP chip works great and picks up stations quite well. The audio tone is clear and bright, with plenty of volume it will play considerably louder than many other pocket radios operating on 2 AA batteries. Only tiny gripe is there is a small amount of play in the tuner linkage but that doesn't stop it from being great!

Basic radio with useful features, but several limitations
The build quality is not the best, although it includes a small flashlight and supports three bands, which can be useful for emergency preparedness. The volume control is very sensitive, jumping from level 0 to a fairly high level, making fine adjustment difficult. Regarding reception, it tunes FM and AM well, but I haven’t been able to pick up any SW signals, only static. It’s a basic radio and somewhat bulky for the features it offers. I haven’t used it long enough to comment on battery durability.

Works great
Good radio so far. I just realized how long it's been since I had a radio and this does the job. Will be nice to have when everything else goes down. Wink, wink. The sound quality isn't great but it also goes crazy loud for such a small thing.
