I got this set to replace some old stained plastic mixing bowls, and I’m really glad I made the switch. The stainless steel feels sturdy and looks clean, and the silicone base keeps the bowls from sliding around while I’m mixing. I like that they all nest together because it saves space in my cabinets and makes them easy to store. The lids fit well and make it simple to prep things ahead of time without moving everything into separate containers. I don’t know how often I’ll use the grating attachments, but they’re a nice bonus to have just in case. The only thing I’d change is the color of the silicone base. I wish it matched my kitchen a little better, but that’s a small detail and not a deal breaker. Overall, this is a solid set with great quality, useful sizes, and thoughtful features. I’m happy with the purchase and see myself using these bowls all the time.

Not overly impressed with this product. The the cucumber slicer attachment is in very sharp. The cucumber struggles to cut through it. Also, the first bowl we used went from the fridge to the table to the sink was hand washed with hot water and the lid is now deformed

We love this set of stainless steel mixing bowls from Carote. Not only are they stainless steel, meaning not plastic and full of harmful chemicals or glass that inevitably gets broken in homes with kids, but the added features are also a very nice touch. The silicon bottom seems more like it was dipped in silicon than an added piece that would come loose and hide water and bacteria. The various sizes are perfect, the measurements inside are useful, and the extra lid with the grating attachments are a wonderful added bonus. Everything seems well done except one tiny detail, which is that all of the set, including bowls, lids, and attachments, will not all fit smoothly inside each other with the lid closed properly. However it is close enough to make you think they should fit and fight with it for quite a while before saying eff it. Perhaps it’s just me though so I won’t dock a star for that, just mentioning it in case the manufacturer looks for room for improvement or at least saves someone else from wasting the time and energy. ;) Additionally, the stainless steel with the white accents look good together, though I would love to have other color options. Basically, the Carote Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls are great and if you’re looking to buy a set, you’ll be happy you bought this one.

We tossed out our old plastic mixing bowl set for this nice stainless steel Carote set. It's fantastic, the silicone bottoms keep them from sliding around on the counter. At the same time they are still light weight and easy to hold when making large batters and trying to hold them with one hand while pouring into a pan and wiping contents with the spatula with the other hand. It's nice that they all have lids if your recipe instructions call for a period of refrigeration, which some of our cookie batter recipes do. I can also pack/nest them all away into the largest bowl with only one extra lid sitting flat on top. I have not used the grating inserts yet, but it's worth mentioning that only the largest bowl top has the insertable lid for the graters. As I mentioned they all nest so you could put a smaller bowl inside the largest bowl to use the grating top it would just require a little forethought and planning to keep the largest bowl empty until last. Very happy with the value we got for this purchase.

I bought this set right before the holidays as I had a lot of cooking to do. I was very pleased with the look, the quality and the price. My favorite was the air tight lids because I could chop my seasoning (onions,peppers etc.) ahead of time and use the next day and everything would still be fresh. The lids also kept the smell in check too. My only regret is I didn't buy these sooner.
