Perfect for repairing silicone parts
This glue works perfectly for bonding the silicone holder of a Cochlear sound processor. It provides a strong, reliable hold while keeping the silicone flexible enough for daily use. Highly recommended if you need a durable solution for silicone repairs! Several weeks have passed, and the glued part is holding firmly.

Prosthetic Liners (silicone) Have Holes? This is Your Savior!
Been an amputee for a couple decades. My silicone liners are quite expensive, and tend to develop holes from everyday wear. I've tried melting the silicone, crazy glue, rubber cement... with disastrous results LOL. The Sil-Poxy worked wonderfully, bonded to the existing silicone, and is flexible.

Expensive but works great!
I had couple of holes in my Silicon Neck Seal on my Drysuit, nothing would work to patch the holes until I came across this Adhesive. It is expensive for 0.5/oz but I ended up using only few drops to repair the hole and it saved me $130 on a new Neck Seal. The Adhesive will glue Rubber to Silicon which is what I did to patch up the small hole, it cures pretty fast like about 12 - 15 min, however to be safe I left it cure 24 hours before I put it to test. You can get a larger tube of 2oz from another supplier but unless you have clear need for large amount, I think the 0.5oz is good enough and not wait for it to dry out. I am storing this in my Freezer with my other adhesive and thawing it out in warm water if I need to use it again.

Adhesion Depends on Type of Silicone
I tested this using 2 different types of flexible o-rings. One was black and the other clear. While the black is flexible, the clear one has more flexibility to it. This Sil-poxy worked very well on the black one. After fully curing I put a good bit of stress pulling and flexing that ring. (This manufacturer's website by the way says to fully cure/dry 24 hours rather than the 12 minutes the tube says.) The clear ring, however, did not hold at all. It seemed a little sticky before fully curing so I had high hopes, but after fully drying it simply fell right apart and the cured sil-poxy slid right off it. I tried this a few times, even trying to first clean/abrase the clear one with alcohol, then tried heat, and even tried treating it first with sliicone lubricant known to "melt" these. Nothing worked -- this sil-poxy just slips right off the clear one. So bottom line, it works well for some but not all types of silicone.

Strong bond and easy to dispense
I purchased this adhesive to avoid replacing the silicone band on my Garmin exercise tracker. Two slots were damaged. A crosspiece between slots had torn off on one side and the side of the slot below it had begun to tear. I printed an instruction sheet from the website, cleaned the area to be bonded as directed and let it dry before attempting the bond while my tracker was charging, ensuring that the bonded areas were tight for a minute and then putting the repaired band on my wrist utilizing a looser slot after the tracker finished charging. I should have let it cure for 24 hours as directed, but both bonds held with no problems weeks later. Since the manufacturer highlighted that the adhesive in the tube would dry very quickly once exposed to the air, I used a small screwdriver head to dip out the quantity I needed and immediately close the tube. This method seemed to prevent any issues with the glue the next time I used it. It seems to work better than advertised and I can't ask for better than that.

Great for repairing silicon molds.

Didn't work for my squishies!
I tried fixing some popped squishes with this but it didn't adhere I guess for some reason. It peels off. A bit disappointing since it was so expensive.

Game Changer!
A little pricey bc the tube is SMALL!! However, it literally only takes a minuscule amount to work magic (depending on how big the damaged area is of course), so it will last for a very long time. My daughter got a new silicone baby for Christmas. She loves this baby beyond words and treats her as her very own real baby. One of her fingers got ripped off from a toddling great nephew. With the help of SIL-Poxy, she is practically good as new!! It couldn’t be done perfectly bc of the type of tear (it wasn’t a smooth rip) but this stuff did exactly what it was supposed to and did it well!
