Amazon eero Pro 7 - Reliable WiFi at last !!
The eero Pro 7 has been a game-changer. I replaced my old router after constant dropouts, buffering and unreliable connections, and since switching to this, everything has been completely smooth. Devices connect instantly, speeds are consistent, and streaming, video calls and smart home kit all just work without a second thought. Being a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router, it handles multiple devices effortlessly and keeps performance stable even when everything’s running at once. Coverage is excellent, and the mesh setup means no dead spots around the house. Setup was straightforward through the app, and once it’s running, you get full visibility and control over your broadband, which is genuinely useful rather than gimmicky. The extra features included with the subscription add real value too - things like advanced security, activity controls and network insights actually make a difference day to day. It feels well thought out and polished, which isn’t surprising given it’s an Amazon product. Overall, it’s a stellar bit of kit. Reliable, fast, and properly future-proofed- if you’ve been struggling with connectivity issues, this is a solid upgrade and well worth the money.

eero Pro 7 Great performance
Before the eero Pro 7, our Wi-Fi experience was a daily struggle of dead zones, laggy video calls, and frustrating buffering. We have a large, multi-story home with over 50 connected devices, and no traditional router or older mesh system could handle the load—until now. The upgrade to the eero Pro 7 has been transformative. The speeds are truly incredible. On Wi-Fi 7-compatible devices, I am consistently hitting near-wired speeds, even when multiple 4K streams, cloud backups, and intensive gaming sessions are running concurrently. The 5GbE ports are also fantastic for hard-wiring my office setup. More importantly, the reception and coverage are flawless. This system blanketed our entire house and even extended coverage to the patio where we previously had zero signal. The transition between nodes is perfectly seamless; I can walk from the basement to the third floor on a video call without a single drop or stutter. Setup was ridiculously easy through the app, taking less than 10 minutes from unboxing to full operation. If you are serious about fast, reliable, and comprehensive Wi-Fi coverage, the eero Pro 7 is worth every penny. It's the last Wi-Fi system you'll need to buy.

“Fast, powerful Wi-Fi… with a small hit to the wallet.
I upgraded to the Amazon eero Pro 7 mainly to future-proof my home network, and overall it’s been a great experience. Setup was incredibly easy, plug it in, open the app, and you’re basically done. No networking degree required. In terms of functionality, it does exactly what it promises. Everything connects smoothly, devices switch between nodes without dropping out, and performance stays consistent even with lots of devices online at the same time. The signal strength is excellent. Coverage is strong across the house, including rooms that used to be Wi-Fi dead zones. Speeds stay stable whether I’m streaming, working, or gaming. Compatibility has also been solid. It works well with smart home devices, laptops, phones, and older gear without any fuss, which was a big plus. The Ethernet ports are decent for most setups, though I do wish there were a couple more on each unit, especially at this price point. That brings me to value for money. It’s powerful and very polished, but it’s definitely on the expensive side. You’re paying for performance, ease, and future-proofing rather than a budget solution. Overall, it’s a fantastic mesh system with great performance and simplicity. I’ve knocked off one star purely because of the price and limited ports, but if you want fast, reliable Wi-Fi 7 with zero setup stress, this is a strong choice.

An excellent tri-band router.
Great piece of hardware that self configured on your network using the eero app. WiFi coverage is excellent with few black spots. The network can be easily extended using additional eero routers in mesh mode. The unit is backwards compatible with eero 5, 6 and 6e. It also works with the eero 7 max. Not the cheapest, but well worth the money. Build quality is also excellent and will fit easily in any room decor.

Reliable and fast WiFi
Much better than the eero six and worth upgrading

Eero Pro 7 is a polished product
I purchased Pro 7 Eero to consign my original Pro 6 Eero to MESH duties. It took a few attempts to switch routers using the Eero App menu but it did eventually work. The Pro 7 adds about 5% extra speed over the Pro 6. It has been stable and uneventful so far, which is what you want in a router. The range is a little better than my Pro 6 but nothing to write home about. MESH works first time every time, so now Wifi coverage is good throughput my house and garage. The Pro 7 is Wifi 7 Tri-band and should bring plenty of advantages for speed as it adds 6 GHz at closer range. Sadly the Apple implementation of WiFI 7 means that I am only seeing 6E which is disappointing on computer equipment and iPhone that are just a few months old; that seems be down to Apple. I wouldn't have bothered if I had known this at the time of purchase. Nevertheless, MESH usefully extends the range with two routers. I would prefer the security of controlling the Eero via LAN but the mobile app does work, albeit with limited control options. Overall the Eero pro 7 is a polished product and it came with a welcomed 20% discount: hence 5 stars.

Won’t do PPPoE. Sent back
Had to send it back. Would not connect to my internet provider (PPPoE doesn’t work!). User interface poor (you enter the configuration and it either gives you an error or appears to save configuration then ignores it / reverts to defaults). Sent it back and got the equivalent Deco. Up and going in seconds and very happy. Do yourself a favour and get something other than an Eero.

Not a lot of words needed, here is a simple image view of before & after I got the eero pro 7 (153mb to 1005mb) to most of all my devices. Very good product, truly no complaints

Unbelievably easy to set up. To set up 2 units, it took me about 10min in all and that included removing the old devices and installing these new ones. So far, all my devices have connected up to it without issue except my old pet cams which use 2.4gHz that needed a bit more time. I'd strongly recommend this product.

I bought this to replace my Google Wifi. Setting it up was straightforward, and the WiFi speed is impressively fast. However, the coverage is disappointing. While they claim it covers up to 190 m², this seems accurate only if your house has no walls or multiple floors... It’s understandable that coverage is often less than advertised, but in this case, when I move upstairs or into another room, my phone immediately switches to 5G. Unfortunately, I don’t live in a castle with metre-thick walls. If strong coverage is a priority for you, I’d recommend investing in additional routers or considering alternative options.
