Due to health issues my windows have been totally neglected over the past 2 years. Dust, dirt, and dog smudges have accumulated. I bought this due to the many positive reviews, but anticipated that it might not be able to handle the inside and outside mess on my windows. I have tried other window cleaning gadgets in the past, but found them just too labor intensive for me. I have been beyond surprised with the results using this robot. The windows I've used it on are amazingly clean. I'm ecstatic looking out through sparkling clean glass windows, and it has been so easy to use. My compliments to the company for such a well designed machine. In my case it was money well spent.

Awesome device for cleaning windows! Cleaning windows can really be a chore, but this thing really does the work. It's one thing if you have a couple windows, but moving into a place with a bunch of tall windows and sliding glass doors, it really becomes a hassle to clean. This window cleaning robot really makes things easier and safer with not having to climb up an use ladder. It could also save money if you're used to hiring someone to clean the windows. It easily sticks and glides across the window, and leaves it pretty streak free! It maps the area of the window pretty easily and the app works well for different cleaning modes. It's not too loud, definitely wouldn't sleep or have an important meeting but it's not disturbing. There's an option to remote control it, but it's pretty good to go on its own. The device seems pretty durable, it feels well made and I really like the pouch to carry it. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a great window cleaning robot.

The ECOVACS WINBOT W2S makes cleaning windows way easier than I expected. Setup was simple, and once it’s on the glass it just does its thing. It moves smoothly, cleans evenly, and gets right up to the edges better than I can by hand. The spray feature helps prevent streaks, and the suction is strong enough that I didn’t worry about it slipping, even on bigger windows. It’s especially nice for higher or hard-to-reach spots where cleaning normally turns into a whole project. Overall, it saves time, takes the effort out of window cleaning, and feels like one of those gadgets you’ll actually keep using. Definitely worth it if you have a lot of glass to clean!!

This is my first window-cleaning robot, and the Ecovacs Winbot W2S has impressed me. I have the standard W2S model, not the W2S Omni with the portable battery pack. Its 26‑foot power cord (10 feet from outlet to the compound connector with the safety harness, plus another 16 feet) makes it easy to handle tall windows and outdoor glass railings. It’s a great tool for keeping windows clean between annual power washes. It doesn't deliver absolute perfection, but it makes a substantial difference with minimal effort. For most people, that’s what they need and want. Our tall windows and glass deck railings hadn’t been cleaned since Covid and were extremely dirty. I plugged the robot in indoors, ran the long cord out to the deck, and let it work. Over one afternoon, I ran roughly 40 “thorough” cycles (twice per side, per window, because the glass was so neglected). I wasn’t expecting spotless results or perfect navigation, but the W2S handled the job far better than I anticipated. I used the same cleaning pad for all these cycles (two pads are included). After each run, I rinsed the pad in the kitchen sink and hand wrung it out until no more water dripped. I also wiped down the blue edge‑cleaning wheels and the treads with a pet/baby wipe, since both collect a lot of grime. The W2S’s updated edge‑cleaning wheels and triple‑nozzle spray help it pick up dirt pushed outward by the pads during cleaning. It runs a dedicated edge pass at the end of the cycle to remove most of that buildup. The window corners still retain a bit of dirt, and the robot leaves a damp square impression where it detaches (sometimes that cleanly evaporates). The improvement in my window clarity and cleanliness was dramatic (see photos). Some Winbot owners report streaking, but I didn’t see any streaks during my use. To keep it that way, I plan to stick with the official cleaning pads ( like this ) and the official cleaning solution ( like this ). So far, I’ve only rinsed the pad with tap water between cycles. While the pad is slightly stained now, that doesn’t seem to affect cleaning performance. Therefore, I'm not going to wash the pad with soap or other cleaners in case that is why some customers see streaks. I only gave my W2S 4 stars because it experienced the occasional fault and had some limitations in my environment. It often doesn't return exactly where it started, so use the app's manual control if you can't reach it after the cycle. My glass railings are attached to the deck without a clear glass edge, so the robot gets confused and occasionally got stuck. It also got stuck on one of my glass doors (see video). When this happens, it doesn't complete the cycle with the normal edge-cleaning run. I also got a couple loss-of-pressure warnings in the beginning, but that may have been because I didn't accurately attach the pad before each run. After that, I spent more time carefully placing and positioning the pad across the velcro spots and didn't see that error again.

The machine is very helpful cleaning tall windows and large sliding glass doors. The device sticks securely to the glass and glides smoothly across the surface, leaving the windows streak-free. It does a great job mapping the window area, and the app is very easy to use with several cleaning modes to choose from. Noise-wise, not silent, but definitely manageable. The build quality feels solid and durable.

This machine helped me eliminate another monthly expense. After I started doing my own lawn care, I decided to stop paying for window cleaning too. This robot made it easy. Cleans corner to corner and easy to program, worked right out the box and app in 10-15minutes. Only small hassle is moving it from window to window, but sure beats doing it yourself or paying someone else. the long-term savings make it absolutely worth it. iv.e cleaned about 15 windows already with this thing. It's not even that noisy, you can be in the same room and it won't bother you. It's got some Power.

I have a lot of large windows, and the ECOVACS WINBOT W2S Omni has made window cleaning so much easier. The packaging is compact and thoughtful, which makes storage simple. Setup is quick, and once it’s on the glass, it works smoothly and feels very secure. It moves confidently on big windows leaves the glass clear without streaks. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it handled large surfaces without any issues. It’s a huge time saver and takes away a job I used to put off. Very happy with this purchase.
