The battery performance is solid, though — and this is the only caveat I’ll mention — it’s not quite as long-lasting as advertised, especially if, like me, you mostly ride in RACE mode (the high-performance setting that prioritizes speed and torque over energy efficiency). It’s also important to mention that I weigh about 230 pounds, and I ride daily in the hilly terrain of San Francisco, so… well, it’s understandable that the advertised range becomes more of a best-case scenario than an everyday reality. So yes — the range might be a bit optimistic in situations like mine. But everything else about the Segway GT3 is so good, I honestly don’t mind plugging it in more often. Initially I liked the product but unfortunately I’ll be returning this product. Battery life tends to go lower and lower. Though there is no really negative thing about this product, the battery life for me was a buzz kill.

almost tooo much of a beast! G3 would have been a better fit for me. But the bigger GT3 is a smooth durable ride, great suspension for old rough sidewalks and bike lanes, convenient unlock features, strong battery, almost too fast 😅 and all these benefits add up to being a bit heavy for commuting downtown.

Scooter is very convenient for injury when youbcant walk far distances. Very helpful very well balanced and comfortable when riding. Power really dropped off when you drain the battery to 25% or less. Donse t take very long to charge Wish it had a built in camera
