The MSI B850 Tomahawk WiFi has been rock solid in my AM5 build, with excellent build quality, strong VRM cooling, and reliable performance straight out of the box. BIOS is clean and easy to use, and system stability has been flawless so far. WiFi and Bluetooth are fast and stable, there’s a good selection of high-speed USB ports, plenty of proper heatsinks. Very good value for money. This is my first ever PC build and it was very easy to install.

Motherboard MAG B850 Tomahawk Max Wifi purchased for a new build (9800X3D, 9060XT 16GB, 32GB DDR5-6000, PCI5 NVMe) where I was hoping for reasonable gaming performance for a fair price with a look to future upgrade. The B850 chipset seemed to be the right direction to go and this board offered two PCI5 NVMe slots which seems to not always be the case B850 boards from other manufacturers so a definate advantage over some others. Installation into the case was fast and straight-forward with no problems encountered for fit or compatibility with any of the components following either MSI's or the component manufacturers instructions. The placement of the connectors for power, fan headers, USB were nicely positioned as was the space around the CPU for the liquid cooler and 360 mm radiator in what was in the end a small case. Everything started first time and have had no stability issues since, the BIOS is easy to navigate and flick through different configurations as is the software MSI provides to control lighting and fans from Windows and drop driver updates. My only complaint would be that the board packaging was damaged on arrival, some of the sharp contacts on the base had punctured the anti-static bag although there did not appear to be any sign of damage to the contacts or outer packaging and thankfully everything worked first time. In terms of performance without any tweaking the system performed slightly above average on 3DMark for comparable builds so off to a good start. Overall would recommend the board for a mid-range build without breaking the bank.

This is without a doubt the best mATX AM5 board on the market right now. It's chock full of features that other mATX mobos don't have like PCI-E 5.0, WIFI 7, and a bunch of M.2 Slots. The M.2 installation is extremely easy with their screwless heatsink, the GPU installation is you pressing a single button to open the slot instead of needing to finagle it in there. The fact that the GPU slot is on the bottom means you can fit full size cards in cases like the Jonsbo Z20, ASUS AP201 etc etc without running into clearance issues. The biggest competitor to this board, the Asus TUF B850M has its GPU slot at the top which means it's going to run into clearance issues with larger cards. MSI has an excellent BIOS GUI which made the process of setting up AMD EXPO for my RAM ultra simple. It's literally a single click. This was the third PC I've ever built and the one I enjoyed the most because of how painless this motherboard made it. Trust me, it's worth spending a little extra to go for this over the cheaper Gigabyte and Asrock alternatives. It's futureproofed with PCI-E 5.0 and you won't regret it.

Ottima mobo. Presa per il mio prossimo pc da gaming. Esteticamente bellissima e completissima di porte e feature. Già predisposta per i ryzen 9000 e con porta pcie 5.0 per le rtx 5000.

got an open motherboard and it shuts down the pc every 10 min

Ottima scheda madre, decisamente ben assemblata e performante. Se avete un case con il pannello in vetro, questa scheda offrirà un tocco estetico decisamente gradevole e raffinato. I dissipatori preinstallati sono generosi nelle dimensioni, pertanto, bisogna valutare con attenzione l'eventuale intenzione di installare un dissipatore a basso profilo (con ventola da 120 mm). L'unica pecca è da attribuire all'imballo inadeguato e ciò è la ragione per la quale ho assegnato quattro stelle. Il pacco dovrebbe essere un po' più grande, più robusto, e contenere più materiale antiurto su tutti e sei i lati interni. Il pacco ricevuto presentava un foro su una parete laterale ed era chiaro che durante il trasporto, vi era stato anche appoggiato sopra un altro pacco molto pesante (scatola deformata verso l'interno). Fortunatamente, la scatola della scheda madre era perfettamente integra. Consiglio di aggiungere la dicitura FRAGILE sul pacco, forse GLS lo maneggerà con più attenzione.

La MSI MPG B850 Edge Ti WiFi m’a convaincu dès l’ouverture : le design blanc est vraiment réussi et donne un look premium dans un boîtier clair. Le format ATX laisse beaucoup de place pour organiser les composants et travailler proprement. L’installation s’est faite sans difficulté. Le socket AM5 accepte directement les processeurs Ryzen récents, et les emplacements M.2 sont facilement accessibles grâce aux dissipateurs bien conçus. Les ports sont nombreux et bien disposés, ce qui simplifie vraiment le montage. La connectivité est un gros point fort : Wi-Fi 7, LAN 5 GbE, USB bien répartis… tout est là pour une machine moderne. Les options pour la DDR5 et PCIe 5.0 offrent une belle marge d’évolution. Pour une configuration orientée performance et esthétique, c’est une carte mère très complète et agréable à utiliser.
