GM Genuine Parts 15-2232 Air Conditioning Compressor, Remanufactured (Renewed)

This item is a AC Delco remanufactued compressor.It would be what a dealer would use to rebuild your air conditioner.if you took it to them.I was impressed with the quality.I was surprised that it was sealed and under vacuum.Much higher quality than something you would get at Oreilly's or Autozone or your local auto parts store.I put it in my 1984 El Camino.It took me about 4 hours to tear my old system apart,replace my compressor,Flush my hoses,replace the O rings,orfice tube,condenser,pull vacuum with a Harbor Frieght 15.00 vacuum pump,and put in new freon.All together I spent about $200.This compressor was a great buy,quick shipping great all around buy !

ITS OK GOT IT ON THE CAR WORKS GOOD

Put this compressor on my 86 C-10 in December tested it out and worked fine, Replaced everything but the hard lines, now it has come apart inside and contaminated the entire system including packing the orifice tube so tight it wont come out cant even see it. Have to re do everything. It may have run 3 hours total ( its been winter ).UPDATE; Tried to return this unit they say there's no Warranty.

the 1st one I ordered had a bad clutch and would not engage unless tapped on, replacement under warranty worked fine

Worked perfect and want to keep car original.
