Best workout headphones I’ve owned — zero buyer’s remorse
I absolutely love the Shokz OpenFit 2+. They feel incredibly light on my ears, with no air pressure at all, which makes long workouts and runs genuinely comfortable. I don’t miss noise cancellation one bit being able to stay aware of my surroundings is actually a big plus for me, especially when exercising. I’ll be honest: if I had known the OpenFit Pro was about to be released, I might have waited. But after actually getting the OpenFit 2+ in my hands and using them, I have zero buyer’s remorse. Everything just works exactly as it should. For context, I’m comparing these to: OpenFit Air - not loud enough Apple AirPods Pro (2nd gen and 3rd gen) - use these for work and travle Powerbeats Pro (1st gen) - fustrating constant charging issues drove me crazy. The OpenFit 2+ have been rock-solid so far. Sound quality is clear and more than good enough for workouts, calls are solid, and the fit is secure without ever feeling tight or intrusive. They stay put, feel natural, and disappear once you start moving. Bottom line: These are the best workout headphones I’ve owned.

Worth Every Cent - The Best Earphones for Comfort, Clarity, and Real-Life Living
I am completely sold on these Shokz OpenFit 2 earphones. After many months of mostly continuous use for both work and play, my appreciation for them has only increased. At this point, my Shokz are as essential to my daily life as my phone — I don’t go anywhere without them. I bought my first set in August ’25 and immediately bought a second because I knew my husband would steal mine. I was not wrong. His are now just as permanently attached to him as mine are to me. These are incredible tools for so many reasons. The biggest attraction for me is comfort. I have serious insomnia and often fall asleep listening to calming music or recordings, so I needed earbuds that wouldn’t hurt my ears. Traditional earbuds are impossible for me — anything in my ear canal causes my sinuses to clog painfully, and that can spiral into a migraine. When I saw the open-ear induction design on these, I knew I’d finally found my solution. They sit outside the ear, feather-light, with no pressure and no discomfort. The design meets every one of my needs. I also need listening power that won’t interrupt my husband’s work or sleep. We are often on opposite schedules, so having sound that doesn’t leak out into the room is essential. Quick charging and long battery life are also must-haves for me. I need something I can rely on to be ready whenever I need it. Where Shokz truly shines is in allowing me to hear my surroundings while still hearing my audio clearly. As a mom to a disabled child, I cannot miss it if she calls for me or if a machine alarm sounds. I also need to be reachable at all times. These earphones let me stay connected to my world instead of shut off from it. My husband uses his set for hours of Zoom meetings during the day, and all of his entertainment in the evening is online. He needs comfort, clarity, and enough noise control to focus — but he also needs to hear our family when we talk to him. For two people on different schedules sharing the same home and workspace, Shokz checks every box. I can watch TV, listen to my audiobook, practice guided meditation, or enjoy African drumming without disturbing him — and he can lead a seminar or watch action flicks with enormous explosions without waking me. It’s peaceful coexistence, courtesy of Shokz. Plus, they’re waterproof! These are some of the most comfortable earphones I’ve ever worn, and the sound quality is fantastic. The audio is full, rich, and clean. Their app offers an easy-to-use equalizer, but honestly, the default settings sound great for most things. Setup took less than a minute on both my phone and my TV. And yes — the bass is real. If you want to hear the full range of your music, not the flat, bass-less sound so many wireless earbuds produce — and if you want comfort, clarity, awareness, and reliability — I strongly recommend these. Recommend: 5/5.

Great Product! Comfortable & Easy to Use
I bought these for my husband for Christmas, fully expecting them to be my Homer ball as he can be particular about his ear buds. But, he absolutely LOVES them and now I'm having to buy my own pair! They are very comfortable & lightweight, after moments you can hardly feel them. They don't slide around & sound is loud and clear, but doesn't impede you from hearing someone call your name. The physical button is wonderful & the main reason I bought these. My husband constantly listens to books & podcasts as he is working around the house and I hated how frustrated he would get as he was trying to pause with his existing earbuds. He'd get so frustrated he'd just pull them out so he could hear me. With these, he pauses easily and hears me the first time so I don't have to repeat or get his attention. It is true you can't hear what he is listening to but if you have the volume loud enough you can hear some noise from them. So keep that in mind if purchasing for the office.

Best Open-Ear Design i've Used
I echo what others have said about the great sound quality (bass, overall natural frequency response balance with standard EQ, high and clean volume capability, spatial envelopment) , wearing comfort, ease of use, great connectivity, and long battery life. These are now my go-to headphones for listening to TV audio when I don't want to disturb my spouse with what I'm listening to. Just a word of caution: If you are having trouble with any of these qualities, make sure you have removed the tiny plastic shields from the connecting points inside the case. If you don't remove these plastic insulators, the phones will not charge properly and will not turn on and off as they should when you open or close the case. I did not discover these plastic shields for a few days and had intermittent trouble with all the stellar qualities. When one phone went totally silent and showed zero charge in the app, I finally investigated the case under stronger light and noticed the plastic shields. Since I removed those plastic insulators and charged up the phones again, I've had zero problems and all the great attributes I and others have mentioned are consistently evident. These are worth every penny and much more! I have very extensive decades of experience using all types of wired and wireless headphones from the highest-end electrostatics, closed- and open-back, around-ear, on-ear, and in-ear dynamic phones, down through wireless bluetooth models like these. I've owned and used several flagship models from Stax, Audeze, Grado, and Sennheiser, as well as the best models from NAD, PSB, Bose, and Cleer. I know what good headphones sound like, in other words, and the sound of these Shokz is not embarrassed by any of them, especially for TV/video streaming use.

Great sounding Earbuds.
These are really good comfortable lightweight and really are more reliable then other ear buds . Price is a bit much for what they don’t do but if you can get them on a discount it’s very worth it . Just missing the voice announcer for when you get calls just the ring tone rangs in you earbuds . I have walked from my bed room out to my garage and the other side with no disconnection but still can’t go to the street with them with out having a device near . Phone calls are clear and crisp much better then my other open ear buds ,I have the black ones they just looked better then the bage ones and are very stylish and blends in pretty well but i wouldn’t mind a plain white or blue color either. They also come very close to real headphones sounds as far as me talking on them people can hear me with out and issue and I don’t have to yell into the mic for them to hearing me . Also connecting to both my iPhone and my windows pc is really good quality .

Wonderful
I love these, mostly because outside of over the ear headphones earbuds have never worked for me. I'm not sure if I have weird ears or I have been using earbuds wrong my entire life. Ontop of this, I've always found them uncomfortable. Now I can have something that stays on my ears, doesn't hurt my ears, straightforward button usage, and has decent sound. The price was hard to swallow at first but for how happy I am and depending on how long they last, they seem worth the money. Especially if you can grab them on sale. Colors are pretty standard and they seem to fit pretty well with my sunglasses so all around a nice pair of headphones.

Just Wow!!
Okay I bought these after seeing a review from CES. I wanted to replace my Poxel Buds pro 2 because they just disappointed with fit (things fall out all the time even with the new twisty thing) and thought I'll give these a try. I wanted buds that didn't fall out (or feel like they were about to fall out), and these are the answer. Fit is amazing and stays in place. I was a little weary of sound quality but, dang, these things sound incredible and can get really loud (almost too loud paired on my Samsung 24 Ultra). Sound is rich and clear and, no, others can't hear what I'm listening too even with the volume cranked. Do I miss ANC?? No! Honestly, ANC is kind of a pain - it drains battery and you constantly have to turn it off or take a bud out if someone starts talking to you. An aside - can we just all agree that if you have buds on, that's a universal sign for DO Not Disturb?? Anyway, I found myself doing that all the time walking my dog and after using these, I think I like open ear (and the added awareness) much better than ANC. If you think you'll be distracted by outside sound (like i thought), you won't be. It's an odd and comforting in-between experience where you can be lost in what you're listening to but also be cognizant of things around you if you want to be. You may have to try these for this to make sense. Comfort? Yes and yes. I forgot these things were even on my ears. Battery life? Umm- 48 hrs! And you get that without all these special conditions. Pixel buds got 12 hours if all features were turned off and I was listening to AM radio and my left arm was raised at a 30 degree angle. What about calls and the mic? Again, better than I hoped. My friends couldn't tell I was on wireless buds (I asked), when speaking even on a windy night outside. Is there anything wrong with them? Not that I can see. Pairing was seemless, Shockz app and features are great, smooth interaction and I like that there is a physical button and touch gestures to control the headphones. Nothing is perfect though and here is what I would change: The position of the physical button. I accidently press this every time I put them on - it's probably the way I put them on so I maybe I can adapt. The case - So the headphones look and feel like pure quality. You can tell right away that these are designed to perform and last. The case, which I'm sure is equally well designed but just feels like an after thought and I think that's because it's so light. It works perfectly and this could very well just be a me thing. Also with the case, these things fit in their little home perfectly - too perfectly. They can be a little difficult to get out. I have big hands though so again, could just be a me thing. All in all, great set of wireless open ear buds. Exceeded my expectations and eliminated my "concerns" about life with open ear headphones and I think all 5 out of 5 dentists would agree with me here.

Almost perfect for sensitive ears and daily workouts!
I’ve owned several pairs of SHOKZ over the years, and the OpenFit 2 may be what I’ve been looking for. The jury is still out for a few weeks. I suffer from skin reactions in my inner ear and cannot wear standard earbuds, so it has been a long journey trying to find the right fit. I am fairly confident these may finally be "the ones." Sound & Features: The sound quality is great for basic, everyday use. I’m not someone who needs fancy Dolby features or wireless charging; I primarily use these for workouts and quick walks around the neighborhood, and they perform beautifully. Fit & Build: If I have one minor complaint, it’s that SHOKZ seems to design their headphones for larger frames/men, so they don’t fit me perfectly snug. However, the material they use is excellent—it "adheres" to the skin just enough that I feel totally secure. I never worry about them falling off during a workout. Portability: extremely lightweight, chargeable usb-c case, nice little pouch. Nothing to complain about. Value: I think the price is fair, especially when compared to higher priced brands such as Bose, etc. Volume control: I haven't played with this too much yet or figured it out but will update this review later. The app though looks to offer plenty of options for volume controls. It's a matter of learning and muscle memory, it seems. The Bottom Line: If you appreciate bone conduction or open-ear tech because you can't (or won't) put things inside your ear canal, these are a fantastic choice. They are comfortable, reliable, and skin-friendly.
