Despite claims of "4mm high-quality closed cell foam" and effective sound insulation, it's extremely thin and does almost nothing to block noise. It might offer minor padding, but for serious soundproofing or heat insulation, it's completely inadequate. Feels more like a budget liner than a professional-grade solution.

I bought this AggSound 4 mm sound-dampening roll specifically to quiet my Bambu Lab P1S 3D printer enclosure, and it exceeded expectations. The material is dense, flexible, and easy to cut, making it simple to line the inside panels. The adhesive backing grips firmly but still allows a bit of repositioning during installation—no messy glue required. Noise reduction is dramatic. After lining the enclosure, I measured roughly a 30–40% drop in operating noise, and the harsh high-frequency vibrations from stepper motors are almost gone.
