Pros: The pills are small, and easy to take. The dose is small enough to allow for flexibility in daily dosages. Cons: The pills are not coated so you will taste the metallic iron. I suggest taking these with a flavored drink of some kind.

I bought these for my elderly parents who both have anemia issues, mild but nonetheless not normal. I chose these as the last batch of iron pills although gentle were a larger pill. These are almost tiny in comparison. They seem to be working. Just had blood work today so the proof of whether or not these are adequate or helping will be known shortly.

Recent bottle has much larger pills than previous bottle. Still 2 pills for a serving of 28mg even though pills are triple the size. Taste of iron pills can be completely masked by taking with orange juice. Taking with water tastes bad. Wish these came in higher dosages. No symptoms after taking them, and I take either 7 or 14 at a time for severe iron deficiency. No nausea or vomiting like ferrous sulfate causes. Very gentle on stomach. No more constipation than normal for me, but I deal with it frequently so I’m not a good judge of this for this product. Pretty affordable, although much more expensive than ferrous sulfate. It’s worth the extra money for the lack of nausea alone to me. These are tablets, not capsules, which are hard to find!

If you've ever taken iron as ferrous sulfate, you may have had to deal with constipation. This is a gentler formula, easy to swallow, builds red blood cells while allowing your digestive system to work normally.

The annoying part about this product is the tiny size & needing to take two. It would be much easier to just make them bigger where you can take one tablet.

My husband had low iron He just had a blood test and is now in the normal range.
