Installed about one month ago. Online you-tube instructions were good, instructions that came with the battery were not clear. This is a little delicate, and removal of old battery was not easy, but I got it out without damaging the phone. The new battery is good and seemingly makes a difference in the overall phone operation. Old battery was swollen, so it did indeed need replacement. Make sure to check you-tubes for any phone battery replacement. The tools that came with the battery are excellent, and can be used for future similar projects.

Piece of junk. It kept a charge for about 2 months, now it goes dead within 6 hours.

The kit is great and has everything needed to change out the battery and re-seal the phone. There are directions enclosed and simple tutorials on YouTube. The 3rd party battery when tested prior and after installing reads at 4500 not 5150. Not a big deal as it’s newer than the old battery, but it’s a 4500. Three stars for inaccurate description. The kit is worth buying and has everything needed. Edit: battery isn’t holding a charge more than 4 hours with minimal use. Unacceptable for a ‘new’ battery.

A few years back I had a pocket-money hobby buying-repairing-reselling phones that required new screens. I found some recent YouTube videos showing how to replace the battery on the Samsung S20 FE - the repair looked simple, so I ordered this kit. When I opened the box I was surprised (and delighted!) to find tools and adhesive strips in addition to the battery. The screwdriver, especially, was handy and added to my tool kit after completion of the project. People are buying this project because they want to update their phone battery. But having the necessary (and they ARE necessary!) tools included made a huge difference. The other tools for prying open the back and coaxing the old battery off the case were so helpful. As far as the operation of the battery - it works. I can't attest that it lasts longer or charges faster than the original four and a half year old battery I removed. I want to mention again the addition of the adhesive strips, one to hold the back of the battery to the case and the other thin strip that runs around the edge of the case. This is much easier to apply than a glue adhesive. So nice to have them included in this kit!
