Medium Heavyweight With - NO BRAKE LIGHT?
I consider myself lucky that this arrived intact with absolutely no damage at all. All parts are still working and it arrived relatively fast. Judging by its weight, this truly is not a toy. It's powerful, it's got launch power when you need it to GO like when you're at a stoplight. I think it's called torque? The meaning keeps changing since bikes and motorcycles are starting to look and act the same. But this bike sounds different than anything I've had before. The motor gives off a strange whining sound similar to an industrial sized can opener, if there's such a thing. But only during acceleration. I don't know what it's supposed to sound like. It's not broken. It's just not quiet. It doesn't sound like a bike at all. I didn't know electric bike motors needed to emit any kind of sound to be functional. Most are relatively silent. It is usually the tires that make the noise. But not in this case. It's one of the things that makes this bike unique. The battery does really well. It doesn't need frequent charging. The wires they did a good job keeping them out of the way for the most part. Most are contained by curly plastic wraps. The lack of a legitimate brake light is irritating because if you are driving something that requires an extremely bright headlight, why would it NOT have a brake light? I find that to be essential. Unfortunately this bikes circuit board does not have redundant wires, meaning it doesn't have the room so there's no extra wire to attach a brake light too. Under your wide seat they installed a 3 volt battery operated LED Yes it sub standard and you will lose it once you upgrade your seat. No big loss. You have to manually turn on and off if you remember to. It is hardly bright enough to catch anybody's attention except for when you forget to turn it off or you accidentally turn it on while adjusting your bike because the button is in a common area where you grab your bike. so you will unknowingly hit the button and the flashing light will stay on while you are away. A small annoyance but not reason enough to give it a bad review. It's a cosmetic blunder that makes a $1200 electric bike look cut rate. But three months ago, my bike and myself were run over while going through the cross walk. We were knocked over and my leg was pinned under her car dragging me and my bike a few feet. I broke my femur due to helpful humans not knowing how to remove a car off of someone and their bike. However, my bike suffered only a bent front disc brake. I took more damage than my bike and it still runs like it did when I first purchased it. This bike is incredibly solid but please don't test it by getting run over. (without bike insurance) As far as the speed goes it alleges 35 mph. I have not seen that yet. I don't think I have even tried or have the need to get it to go that fast but faster speeds eat up the battery. If going slower is not your thing get an 52v or a motorcycle. I will periodically update this review when I find more relevant issues to complain about less. So far this bike has not done anything wrong. I'm Still on the lookout for an integrated brake light apparently no one sells them.

EK6 Max great bike.
The EK6 Max is large. I am 5'8" and underestimated how large it is, especially since I have not ridden a bike in a long time and this is my first e-bike. The EK6M has exceeded my expectations so far and the battery came fully charged. The speed is zippy based on my initial ride and I am still getting dialed in to layout. My experience was mainly with mtb's at less than 15lbs so the the 79lbs still requires some adjustments. The hydraulic brakes worked much better than the old double shoe style so decelerating quickly added to a safer feel. The assembly time was around 1 hour-ish and not too bad. included instructions were good and many videos on how to assemble are on the product page. I am not sure how many makers include rim tape on their wheels, but the EK6M has the tape installed. The aesthetics are good and that what drew my attention. Highly recommend the bike.. just remember their size recommendation is important.

Bike exceeds my expectations.
Shipping was longer than original timeframe. Bike ride arrived in great condition. Assembly was relatively easy.. But now we must get to the negative kick stand fell apart on the second day the pin which holds the assembly together actually fell out. Contacting Customer Service was a bit of a problem eventually resolved. Received new kickstand.. I have 225 miles on the bike. I live in a very hilly area and averaging approximately 60 to 70 miles between charges.. performance I feel excellent.

False claims
Advertised two 25MAh batteries but came with 2 20MAh batteries. Speed claims are false. No way this ebike could do 35mph unless going downhill with weight. Max mph achieved is approx 27 mph for a 200# person...even downhill. Battery life claims exaggerated. Seller should have worked with me but didn't except for ebike shipped without a charger. They did send that when I complained.

Good battery life
I love this bike. It’s a smooth ride and was easy to put together. I had a little difficulty figuring out how to remove the battery. All videos I watched made it look easy but I really had to pull hard to get it out. Plus the keys for the battery are poorly made. I almost broke the first key because it kept bending when I tried turning the lock. My only other issue would be the speed. It is advertised to go 35mph but I can only get it to go 30 at top speed. For me that’s not a dealbreaker because I don’t necessarily need speed. I love how long the battery lasts. I would say the advertisement for that is accurate. I can go on a 40 or 50 mile bike ride and still have about half a battery left. Like anything you purchase, you will find some flaws. The only question is are you able to live with them or not? For me, this bike is worth the purchase.

Ek6 max 2.0
I'm very please with my new e-bike , after 3 weeks i have done 200miles already , i'm making around 30miles per ride and every time I get peoples asking questions about the bike or how nice the bike looks. I made a very good choice voing with this purchase , glad i did it . I m sure potentials buyer would want to know ... does it reach 35mph ? , well in my case im 5'10 weight 188 lbs and with no wind I did reach out 33 mph, so, close and fast enough for me Luc
