This thing works perfect for hardwood floors. We love the light because you can see so much hair/dirt that is missed that you wouldn't be able to see without it. Beware, this does not do good on carpet at all. It barely picks up anything on even the shortest carpet. I would not recommend on anything other than hard wood floors.

This is pretty cool! I spent a lot of money recently on a Dyson 15, thinking it had the dust illumination but the model I purchased did not. I otherwise liked the vacuum but considered returning it until I saw this and figured it would be worth the 20 bucks to try to see if it would work. When I opened the box, it looked and felt similar to the other Dyson attachments and worked great! I took a star off for the light coming from only one side but it still works well enough and it is very addicting to use lol. We just got a puppy and I am now slightly disturbed by how much dog hair has been on the floor (weirdly in places the dog doesn't even go to) but I am no longer in the dark about the situation! I can't speak to durability but hoping it lasts.

This is been the best attachment I’ve ever bought for my Dyson. The light on it allows me to see all of the dirt I haven’t been vacuuming out in the past. the fact that it’s a smaller profile that allows me to get underneath cabinets like I wasn’t able to before

Works excellent I like the light but I didn’t think I was buying a used one. Came with hair all over the roller. Kinda gross

Solid replacement for the original floor attachment for my Dyson V15 Detect. I haven't noticed a difference in performance.

Nice cool replacement for expensive dyson with additional feature of green light can expose dirt.

The power head works good but the angle of the light is a little too high, making it a little difficult to see the dust

Hooks right up and works awesome on our v7! It's so powerful that you can feel it giving a pull as it chugs along. Reminds me of my old plug in vaccum. Definitely recommend! I love the cool green light and the dual wheels. Makes it drive so much easier under and around things.
