Industrial Sewing Machine Motor AC110V Power 1HP (750W), Servo Motor Brushless Reversible with Controller and Foot Switch (750, Watts)

I bought this to replace the monstrous Family servo motor on my Consew. The Family motor worked great but it can't be used with a synchronizer (which I wanted). This little motor is compact, light, simple to install, and even more powerful than the huge, 35# Family one it replaced. It's simple to adjust and all around a nice motor, and with the synchronizer (optional), it makes sewing SO much more enjoyable. Plus, it's a bargain! Another perk is that it's silent when it's on, and if you're coming from a clutch motor, that'll really be a treat! Oh! Be sure to adjust your speed down before you try out the new motor on your machine, though! Mine was set at max speed (3500 RPM!) and it scared the crap out of me when it took off! lol!

Used to upgrade a cheap 1x30 belt grinder from an AC motor with 3600rpm to a variable speed DC motor that can go 200-5000rpm. Worked great for my conversion project!

Meets my needs

I installed this motor on my Chinese hand crank modeled after the old Singer 29 (the white one). Very quiet, powerful and programmable. I don’t think I’ll need to slow it down anymore than the lowest speed but I might just to increase the versatility. Excellent way to use two hands for your hand crank machine for less than $100. I’m trying to find other uses because motors with a controller opens a lot of possibilities. I didn’t use any of the mounting hardware and if you aren’t ready to think creatively to align and mount securely then get someone handy with tools. Any machine needs to be tuned to work smooth and if you want to get the most take the time and mount it on a solid table and align your belt, you will enjoy smooth operation and you can focus on your work not your equipment. Worth every penny.

Quiet motor, I love how slow you can sew. Powerfully! The only thing I think would be an improvement would be a controller that was not under your table, since the controller is attached to the motor.

Was super easy to install! Runs so much smoother now and able to control my stiches when I need to go slow. Definitely happy I invested in getting this motor and the price was good. Looks like the original so it fit perfectly in place.
