Best Family Camping Tent – Waterproof, Blackout & Smart 2-Room Design
This is by far the best tent I’ve ever owned. If you camp with kids, this tent is a game changer. The standout features for our family are: fully waterproof construction, blackout interior (which helps the kids sleep in!), and the versatile entrance design. You can flip up the side panel to create a covered entry area, which is incredibly useful for shade or light rain. We also purchased the Naturehike camping tent floor footprint to use underneath, and I highly recommend doing that for extra protection and longevity. One of my favorite features is the two-entrance setup. If you install the divider to create two rooms, each side has its own entrance. That makes it perfect for families who want a little privacy or separate sleeping spaces for kids and adults. Rain Test (and it passed with flying colors): On our very first day camping, I finished setting up around 11am — and it immediately started raining. It rained steadily until about 4pm. The inside of the tent stayed completely dry. The floor was totally dry. No leaks. No damp spots. Nothing. Thankfully the rain stopped and we were still able to enjoy a campfire that evening. Overnight it stayed dry, and even with light drizzle early in the morning, the interior was still completely dry when I woke up. There was some condensation on the inside of the rainfly (which is normal), but we left it alone and it dried by mid-day. Setup is quick and easy — it pops up very much like a Costco pop-up canopy. No complicated poles or frustrating assembly. Overall, this tent exceeded my expectations in every way. If you’re camping with family and want something reliable, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, this is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend. The other family who camps often also happened to have the nature hike tent as well!!

Good option for three season tent
Needed to upgrade my tent. This fast to setup tent is great. Have used it twice and the finish is above average. Tent stakes, grommets, sewing, and poles are good quality. Love the 12 volt LED light strip build into the ridge poles. Able to fit 3 full sized Coleman cots inside with room to spare. The heavy fly blocks out light (important in Alaska with 24 light in summer.). Lots of connectors and lines to secure the tent with many stakes as conditions required.

Worth every penny!
This is a great tent! It is simply to set up and has plenty of features not the least of which is that is 100% waterproof. I set up the tent in the pouring rain which last over 12 hours and it was completely dry inside. The fly makes the tent quite dark inside which is nice when you sleep in. The second night I used it, the temperature went down to 21 degrees and the wind/rain was steady at 15-20 mph all night and while I could see the fly moving on top, it never transferred the wind inside. The height was good, zippers all work awesome. I havent used the tent many times yet but Im very pleased with my initial experiences with it.

Easy to assemble
Very roomy, durable, and waterproof especially here in NE with snow! Can fit about 3-4 cots and gear comfortably too.

Sets up easily
Only used it once but it held up to the weather. Wish I’d got the bigger one for more room. But satisfied for a small hunting group.

Short and smelly
Had a horrible smell like dead fish The bottom is very thin and probably wouldn’t be water resistant It shorter than 6 foot in the center so you can’t really stand up if you’re tall I liked the lighted feature and the easy pop up The double sided doors was nice and the fly clipped into the tent. It has some positive features but we returned it because we need to be able to stand up fully in the tent

Amazing tent
Absolutely love this tent. Great size, very sturdy, and so far, with temps dipping into the 20’sF, the added weight in the tarp-over keeps things 15 degrees warmer inside. Ample ventilation when needed, and smart touches throughout. Zippers are well made, stitching reinforced where expected, and the string of lights is a nice touch. So far, withstood heavy rain and winds. Properly staked and grounded with zero issue. Looking forward to a lasting purchase with this investment. Pops open and assembles in literally minutes. This one replaced a six person tent that was past its prime days - and it’s incredible to see how many improvements have built into a more modern tent.

Best Tent Ever!
This tent is by far the best tent I’ve owned! I live in Alaska and this tent holds up to the weather here. I’ve been in more than 10 big rain storms and not 1 drop was felt. This tent holds its heat and is easy to set up and take down!
