I purchased the glycolic body wash with the retinol moisturizer. I have keratosis pilaris, or something very close to it. My arms always have a little rash, even in childhood. But when I got closer to menopause, it seemed to spread all over my arms. I did some digging online and found that retinol can help. I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try (I mean I love it on my face!). At first I was a little hesitant to try this combo. I have dry skin and acids (glycolic, lactic, retinol, and ferulic) can be very drying. But with the way my skin was looking, I figured it couldn't get much worse. I figured that I could rotate a more hydrating product into my routine as needed, just like you would do for your face when using chemical exfoliators like retinol and glycolic acid. After the first wash I was already impressed. I had read people complaining about the mint scent, but it's part of the treatment. It smells nice, I didn't find it as offensive as the reviews said. It lathers alright, but what it does for the skin is amazing. I saw a few reviews mention that it burns, but I didn't have that experience at all, and I used it on my entire body. After my shower I used the retinol lotion on my arms. Even after the first day my KP was claming down. By the next day my rash was reduced by at least half. I really wish I would have looked for something sooner, because I've had this going on my whole life. Now, let's talk about these products a little bit. I saw some confusion in the reviews about people using these products and drying out. That's because all of the acids are exfoliating, they are meant to accelerate skin resurfacing which can cause dryness. But that's what makes these products work (you can apply this knowledge to your facial products as well). I recommend using other mechanical exfoliators like body scrubs or a Buff Puff, then follow up with hydrating creams to balance out the acids. Also, if you're sensitive at first, go slow. You work up to using these type of things daily. If you start flaking and peeling, back off for a few days and use a scrub or face mask to remove the dead skin, and then use a hydrating moisturizer. Overall I'm very impressed with how effective this combo has been. I just wish I had considered using the knowledge I had about my facial products to my whole body. I love that these bottles are a decent size, not too expensive, and they actually work. I highly recommend!

Problematic skin, this is the product to help resolve the issue. I know because I purchased it, tried it, and can definitely say, it works! It affordable. It's lather is lush and calming. It's very effective on the skin. It truly works and makes a difference to your skin, did for me. Worked at calming my bumpy skin overnight.

I bought this combination after reading reviews. The moisturizer smells so good I definitely see an improvement after using this on my face. Skin is softer and clearer. The body cream has a nice light fragrant .

Just received the set today, tried opening the body cream this evening. I spent more than an half hour trying to get the pump to release so that I could apply the cream. What a fiasco that was! I finally read thru the complaints here, at least 6 other people had the same problem with one saying that they removed the pump from the bottle & twisted the center. Well that works if you know what you're doing. Be prepared to apply the cream to your arms or legs after removing the pump entirely in order not to lose so much product, your hands will not be able to grip the pump & the large large cylinder without wiping them off first, I used a tissue. Then use the tissue to grab the large cylinder in place & twist the pump, it will release. I added a photo for those that need a pic to understand what I mean. The tissue is laying under the cylinder that needs to be held in place. Bad design. Good luck people!

I have an issue with fragrance and have a terrible reaction to a lot of products. Not so with these. Liked them enough that shortly after I received the first set I ordered another one. Helps to keep my skin clear and has a terrific moisturizing body cream that actually helps crepey skin. Two thumbs up!

The Medix Exfoliating Glycolic Acid Body Wash was a refreshing surprise. It has a minty scent which I didn't see mentioned in the listing. It doesn't feel tingly to me, but it does have Melaleuca Alternifolia (tea tree), Mentha Piperita, and Eucalyptus Oil. Along with Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, it might not be the gentlest formula. But, I do love minty scents, and it has AHAs Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid) and BHA (Salicylic Acid) which are great chemical exfoliants. I like it as a body wash, but not for the face. I got the combo with the Fragrance Free Retinol Body Lotion. It absorbs well and is fragrance free. Retinol is another quality ingredient although I'm not sure how strong the concentration is in this product. It also has some moisturizing ingredients to balance it which is good because retinol can be drying. I prefer this one for nighttime use. Be sure to wear sunscreen while using AHAs or retinol. The big pump bottles are convenient. I think they are a pretty good value.

I love this body wash and lotion! I am so much smoother! The unscented lotion does slightly smell funny but it isn't a deal breaker at all. I plan on keeping this stocked.

These are amazing my skin has never looked better
