Had this trans cooler on my truck for at least 6 months now and it has not given my a sing issue. The install was simple. I installed this on my 99 Silverado for my built 4l60e and have seen my trans temps stay low even after doing hard pulls. Amazing price and quality

It was really hot. We were stuck in a tunnel in Boston. Boston is hell at rush hour. We knew this...we went anyway. We were hauling a big trailer with a 1985 Chevy pick up. It's old. We're old too. We knew it was a lot to ask of this truck, so installed this transmission cooler. The truck didn't over heat! We didn't have to run the heater on a 90 degree day in the tunnel! It still was a horrible trip, but at least made less horrible by a GREAT transmission cooler! On the way home to Maine we avoided Boston, we swung by the White Mountains, and again, the cooler worked great, hauling up those big hills in the White Mountains it performed flawlessly! We would highly recommend!!

The Cooler developed a leak about 8 months after i purchased it, or about 15,000 miles. The leak isn't necessarily the reason why i'm writing this review, i'm writing this review because I messaged the seller trying to claim the warranty, and I did not hear back from the seller. I purchased this specific cooler for the lifetime warranty and it seems like I won't be claiming that anytime soon. Also, this is NOT from the tru cool brand, I already knew that when I purchased it however to those of you who are confused, it's not from tru cool.

Works great! I put it in my Wife's 2018 tahoe as a replacement cooler after her transmission went out. i bypassed the AC condensor cooler that was originally installed. Runs 170 after long drive on highway.

I really liked the cooler itself. It did the trick in reducing my trans temps in my motorhome. After seeing other reviews, I decided to avoid the use of the included hose (which was too short to do much with anyway) - and built myself 3/8 lines with 5/8-18 inverted flare nuts. Those fit fine - but do take a bit of work to get them to seal (that may be an artifact of my flares and not the cooler itself). The only negative I found on the cooler is that it is a pretty soft material - be careful when tightening the inverted flare nuts into the cooler - the attachment female portion bends easily.

Well packaged. Installed into diesel with allison 1000, It dropped transmission temperature 20° - 25°. Update: replacement ordered, weld broke and failed. 2nd replacement failed. Will not order again.

Works great but go get yourself diffrent hoses the ones that came with it are not good. Got a leak in a bend after maybe 100mi
