The 100p scooter at $250 is an unbelievably good deal
The 100p scooter at $250 is an unbelievably good deal. It is extremely high quality for the price, feeling very sturdy. It has a basic headlight which doesn't illuminate much but makes you more visible in the dark, which is enough for well-lit cities. Battery life is not so good if you have a longer commute; in the freezing winter I could not get more than 6-8 miles out of it. When it warmed up I was able to get closer to 10 while going close to top speed. I really like the regen breaking as a way to smoothly stop without having to press the brake. But the brakes are also fairly high quality.

Fast, comfortable, and great suspension
I have been riding the NIU KQi 100p for three months now, and it has been a fantastic purchase. As a first time e-scooter rider, I found it very easy to get used to. At 6 ft tall and 130 lbs, the ride feels stable, and I am able to hit top speeds of over 25 mph without issue. The suspension is also impressive, it handles my daily commute over somewhat bumpy roads very smoothly.

Scooter wont turn on ... weeks go by with the issue unresolved! TERRIBLE customer service!
I bought two of these scooters and one would not turn on. I called customer service and did all the troubleshooting with unsuccessful results. So I was directed to the website to submit a service claim. On the claim form it requires the customer to decide if they need the parts sent to them or the scooter returned for service. Well I am not a scooter expert, how am I supposed to know what the proper solution is? I selected parts being sent to me because it seemed like a much easier option then sending the scooter out for service. After several emails and a few phone calls they informed me that I selected the wrong option and that they could not change the work order. However they were going to submit a new work order for me. This went on for almost 2 weeks with zero results. I called almost everyday and tried to resubmit a new work order but was not able because it already showed a work order for the scooter vin number. Finally after receiving an email that said my work order was cancelled (two weeks later) I was able to submit a new work order today asking to send the scooter in for repair. So the saga continues ... But I wanted to write this review to warn others about the terrible customer service if there is an issue with the scooter!

Great scooter for the price | still going strong after a year
I bought this last year and thought I would give it a review. It's been used a lot, it's my 13yo son's and he rides it every day to and from school, which is about 1/2 mile each way. He uses it to go to his friends' houses, and ride to the convenience store. He weighs about 80lbs, which is important because when I ride it sometimes to get the mail, it goes about half as fast when he rides it (I'm 190). He averages a top speed of about 15 mph, which is pretty good. We used the bluetooth app setup to configure it so it's not set for top speed, it has the regenerative braking enabled to extend battery life. We monitored and tried different settings over a few weeks to get it where he wanted it but if configured just for speed his average was probably 18 mph. Overall I was impressed with the build quality compared to other models at this price, and it is still in good mechanical condition--everything is working as it should mechanically (and electrically for the batter, LEDs, etc.). There are two items to note though. The first is the rear brake lever, it has broken several times, the bracket is plastic and there is constant torque pressure on the bracket when you pull the lever so it's bound to fail at some point, but the replacement part is expensive and hard to find in stock, so I have make-shift DIY repaired it a few times, see the image for what I did. And most recently, after about 1 year, the back of the scooter that has the rear light broke off, that's a weak point because it freely hangs off the scooter, and it cracked and then broke completely. I was able to tape it and that worked for about a week, but it eventually started to fail again so I drilled some holes and put two screws through it, after making sure that the battery didn't extend that far back, which it doesn't.

Grand kids love them
Very satisfied. Grand kids love them. We bought four when they were on sale. Disappointed that replacement parts are hard to get( the bell broke soon after use) but aftermarket bike bells worked fine.

Excellent scooter for the price point
I have had this scooter for over half a year and it’s been great. As of this review, the app doesn’t track miles neither does the screen on the scooter itself. That’s really my only gripe with it. Otherwise the app has great features like controlling the battery max charge (80%, 85%, 90%, 95% and 100%) there’s also a widget for it so you can have battery status on your Lock Screen. You can control top speed and also regen braking. Overall it’s a great scooter for the price. I had bought it back then when it was on sale for $250. I’m about 165lbs and it hits most hills with ease. I’d say at top speed and some hills you can expect 8-12miles on a single charge max.
