Perfect fit. Now if only this "Tuff" laptop was actually tuff. Asus lost 50% of my trust with this machine.

The backlighting is bright and even, making it incredibly easy to type in low-light conditions, which is essential for me. The keys have a comfortable, responsive feel, and I haven't noticed any difference in typing experience compared to the original keyboard. All the functions, including the backlight controls, work flawlessly.

This replacement did work for my FX507ZM laptop. The space bar needs a little more pressure to work reliably than is comfortable but everything else does function (including RGB). HOWEVER, the process of replacing it is not something I'd wish on my worst enemies - it took me 4 hours and requires a soldering iron or another way to melt/break the ~50 plastic rivets that attach the keyboard to the top half of the laptop's frame. Buying a product that includes a replacement keyboard AND frame would save you the headache of the hardest parts of this replacement.

This is not a 1 to 1 replacement for an asus keyboard, the keycaps and other components are different - if all you want to do is have spare keycaps on hand for when yours crack this is not a good purchase for you. If you want to replace the entire keyboard it may work.

Original Keyboard failed the power button pretty soon. Product perfectly fitted the ASUS TUF A15 FX507RC laptop. Removing the old one is a tedious long process, but can be achieved. Product arrived quickly on the other side of the world (around 8-10 days).
