It has been 10 years since I purchased a baby monitor, and so I expected a great deal of improvement, but this product surpassed my expectations. First of all, it arrived beautifully and well packed. I was especially pleased to see that it included not only the two power cords, but also the two power adapter blocks. So many products these days come with the cord but no plug. That was a small thing, but a real indication of the thoughtfulness and quality. Also, I didn’t need them, but the box contains a bracket for wall, mounting the camera and includes the screws necessary for the wall mounting. Very thoughtful and thorough. There was almost no set up. I plugged the adorable cat ear camera in, and it immediately activated. I next plugged in the handheld monitor device. It powered on quickly and was very easy to navigate. The color changing ear lights are a little much for my needs, but I can absolutely see certain toddlers being very by their friendly cat ear nightlight. The quality of the image on the handheld monitor was excellent. The ability to rotate the camera up and down, and all around is phenomenal. There was no noise from the device as a rotated. The intercom saved to work excellently. I noticed a slight delay, but I am not sure if it was the device or operator error. The cell phone app was easy to install and easy to set up. It immediately notified me of a software upgrade for the devices. That is fantastic. I am glad to know that the software Is being updated and improved. Although I couldn’t see anything that needed to be improved. All in all, this little baby monitor camera is far more than I expected, and I am thoroughly pleased. Do not hesitate. This is an excellent choice.

This baby monitor and camera is great and so easy to use once you get the hang of it! It connected to my internet, phone, and the monitor itself so easily. It only took 5 minutes max for the entire process! It's easy to find and change the setting on my phone, the monitor is a little more challenging but not too difficult if you follow the instructions. The sounds and movement sensitivity is great too. The quality is so much better on my phone, you can see my baby's detailed little face so perfectly. The monitors picture isn't too bad either! The camera picks up every little sound that happens in your room, and it can even pick up other sounds from nearby rooms if it is quiet enough. It has some pretty neat perks, like the lights and quality of making calls through it. You can talk through the baby monitor or phone to the camera, or vice versa. It's light up function is pretty neat too, but also very bright in a dark room. For those who may not like having a lot of apps on your phone just beware you will need to download one, should you want to see things from you phone. Which I like to check in from work so it's convenient for me. The app and everything works well too. I got this cool camera and monitor on sale, but I would honestly purchase it for full price too. 10/10 recommend.

Edit: Updating my review to one star. I have been emailing the manufacturer for over a month. They told me to send a video of the problem, which I did (monitor has never turned on). After that, I never heard back. Every time I email, I get an auto reply message. So far, “Sofia Osborne” based out of China has: been on vacation, been on annual leave, been out of the office, celebrating Chinese new year, etc. Amazon was nice enough to issue me a return code so I can return this garbage. The camera itself and app work really well and are easy to use. However, the baby monitor did not work and wouldn’t turn on, so I can’t use that and have to use my phone app to monitor if I’m in a different part of the house. It would have been too inconvenient for me to disconnect, repackage, and go to a return place (as I am postpartum), so I ended up keeping it.
