I've been using this device for more than 6 months now and it has been very efficient, a 30W Fiber Laser this versatile and portable for the price i paid, it's a steal, zero problems, it works as intended, and with enough testing you can do a ton of stuff, metals, plastic, cardboard, acrylic, rock, you name it, it works, i work with engraving mostly, haven't tried deep engraving yet, but it cuts metal to some extent. My overall experience es Excellent, with a low learning curve so it's pretty easy and fast to start working with, they recently made live videos on YT, so you can search for the model and have a ton of examples with the parameters they used at your disposition. Note: My niche is customizing tumblers with laser, this machine does the job perfectly, even with the challenge that changes in the height of the tumblers represent, so if the surface completely flat, it can make pieces of art appear like magic, if you do deep engraving or something else, my review probably won't work for you.

This laser has been a great purchase. It’s well-built, performs exactly as expected, and overall I’ve been really satisfied with it. I did run into a minor issue with the column, but their customer service team handled it quickly and professionally—they’re sending out a replacement at no charge. It’s reassuring to know the support is there when you need it. Aside from that, the machine has worked really well and definitely feels like a solid investment. Incredibly fast, powerful and precise.

This has been a fiasco. I bought this in Sept 2025. Initially I had trouble with it not engraving deep in coins. Gweike offered very little help. They did replace the machine but I had the same problem with the replacement. Again very little help. I was able to finally solve the problem on my own. Now in late December the laser will intermittently lose power. The machine runs but the laser does not cut. I have to turn the machine off and on and it will finally start to cut. It will begin to cut and will suddenly and without warning stop cutting in the middle of a run. It seems as though the laser power source is shorting out or something. I have reported this to Gweike and they instructed me to send them pictures and videos of exactly what it is doing. I sent about 15 or 20 videos and picutres showing exactly what is going on. And their only response is to send more photos. This machine works decently when it works, not great but decently. It gets the job done well enough. But it is not reliable. Customer service is abysmal. And slow. We communicate by WhatsApp and it sometimes takes several days to receive any response. Bottom line…save your money and put it toward something much more reliable like an XTool or any of the myriad other lasers on the market.

This laser was a bit of an impulse purchase. I'm a hobby machinist, and I thought it would be fun to be able to mark tools and projects. And I was right. I'm not sure what it is, but there's something about a galvo laser that's just a ton of fun. I think it's the speed. Whatever it is, I've enjoyed using this product, have made quite a few things, and have had only one minor issue. More about that below. As far as the product itself, I have no serious complaints. The printed instructions and videos available covered setup well, and I was able to get going with Lightburn (my software of choice) without any hiccups. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the motorized column for setting the focal length: the buttons are slightly awkwardly placed for my setup, and I think a hand crank would be both faster and more convenient, but they're completely usable as-is. I did a fair amount of comparison shopping before I bough the G2, and feel like it hits a great value/price point. This is my first laser, so I can't really compare it to anything else in terms of usage, but as I said I've run it a fair amount, including plain engraving on metal and some plastics, engraving some coins, engraving a bunch of slate coasters, engraving a ring for my wife, and a bunch of other experiments on things like the Norton White Tile method. Everything has performed well within my expectations. The one issue I've run into is with the rotary chuck, which I also purchased. For some reason, when I plug in the rotary, the lift motor on the laser head runs, raising the head and ruining the focus. This only happens when the rotary is plugged in. I contacted Gweike support, and they were responsive. The resolution was to unplug the motor for the head after setting focus. Not as good as a real fix, but it worked fine and really isn't too inconvenient. Hopefully there will be a firmware update or something at some point, but if not I can definitely live with it. Overall I am pleased, and would absolutely buy this again.

This is amazing laser for the price point. Extremely happy with the purchase. Have been able to engrave many materials with ease. A bit of learning curve coming from using a diode laser, but still easy to learn and use. The functionality, the size of the machine itself and speed all come together in this little unit. Space saving and quiet when running this laser will engrave just about anything you want!

I'm new in this world, but after an intensive research I found this is the right laser engraving machine for all my needs, I bought also the two rotary attachments, one for rings and small objects and the other for tumblers. I've been trying engraving and cutting different materials like aluminum, stainless steel and black acrylic. The machine itself is super portable and the program is easy to use.
