My phone sits in a Quad-Lock case, a system I absolutely love! So when I first got my kayak I got a Quad-Lock holder for my phone. It’s worked out really well, although I had a couple of near misses when I wanted to remove my phone to take a picture or some video while out on the water. I’m also a huge fan of Yak-Attack products! I think they are thoughtful designed with the kayak fisherman in mind, and as I was checking out other products I came across this. Since I already had the base and arm for my Quad Lock, I opted to try out this phone holder. I’ve used it a couple of times now and I’ve still fumbled with my phone, but removing it from the holder is soooooo much easier, and the added tether ensures my phone won’t sink in the drink if it does go overboard someday! The coiled strap sits out of the way but stretches far enough to easily manage the phone and anything I want to do with it. It’s a great piece of equipment, essential for any kayak angler, has a great price/value ratio, sits out of the way because the profile isn’t very big, and is super easy to set up for your particular phone and use. Highly recommend!

You won't lose your phone with this bad boy. Sometimes even getting your phone out of it can be a bit difficult it's got such a tight hold. Fits most t-tracks. Super sturdy, easy install, and a great way to spend your money- think of it like insurance.

Great phone holder on the yak. The only trouble i has was that I have an otter box phone case for my s24 ultra so it fits in the holder and doesn't seem to pop out of it by itself but if you tap it enough it will pop out. That's only because of the chunky otter box case I have though. The locking system worked fine on my stock yak rails. I do wish the clamping mechanism was adjustable.

I love this because it meets multiple needs! Fits perfectly into my Hobie rails. I no longer have to tether my phone to my PFD and then find a place to pocket or fit my phone safely. It's perfect for Catch, Photo, Release tournament fishing-because the phone is tethered in the cradle. It is easily accessible for taking fish pics on the Ketch board, the tether is plenty long enough and pliant, it doesn't get in the way of the photo shot. It also is a great alternative to my GoPro for creating fishing content because I can easily take pictures and record video from my phone, hands free, without worrying about it falling in the water! Well worth the $!!! I love all my Yak Attack products!

Good upgrade for your kayak

Wanted to love it. It's a solid piece of kit. It's just too small for my phone unless I take the case off. I thought I might be able to get away with it, since a lot of products undersell what they can do to be safe. No the case here. My S25 Ultra in a Defender case doesn't fit. It'll have to go back.

Very well designed and simple to set up. I use it for an iphone 16 pro max and it has plenty of adjustability to go bigger or smaller. You can stow and retrieve the phone with 1 hand easily. Holds securely without straining the mount pulling the phone out or putting it in. Perfect tension and the tether works well. Using on a fishing kayak.
