I'm happy with this replacement head for the Dyson. I accidently damaged the head on our V10. We have pets and use it a lot. The way this one glides over the hardwood floors is almost like having a new vacuum. Would recommend.

I can't believe how the new one plugged right into my older Dyson with the brushes worn off. Really picks up dog hair off the floor and carpet.

It’s works enough but there’s no protection on the bottom so it just slides everywhere. I wouldn’t recommend buying. I kept telling my husband to return but he insisted it was fine. Not a great replacement. Should have just gone through Dyson.

The power head is fine, it does draw more power than the OEM head, beyond that it is fine. The trigger lock doesn’t keep the trigger on when the handle is pulled down, it doesn’t rotate enough. The lock keeps flipping back up due to it not rotating enough. Doesn’t matter how far on the trigger guard you place it, it won’t stay down.

Very happy with this vacuum head! It looks identical to the original and even seems better. The strip of rubber at the back on the original was softer and crumbs flew backwards if they were to big. This one has a stiffer rubber strip and crumbs don't get past it.

Cheap quality, not worth $80 more like $10.

The original dyson animal v7 power head as good and lasted a long time but, this performs against pet hair perfectly.

Fits my Dyson V7 and it worked well. Says it’s for pet hair and hard floors. It worked on my carpets as well but did not work well on my washable carpet (purchased from Costco). The vacuum sucked up the carpet and stopped rolling. I did put it on max suction and with a lot of effort (pushing with a lot strength) was able to make it work.
