Great machine great value and cleans well
This is an excellent machine cleans very well and leaves no marks or smudges. Not too noisy and keeps battery for a long time too. Used it on house windows internally and it’s made them look brand new after years of being unable to get rid of smudges. Excellent value

Outstanding
Outstanding. I have large windows. After this hot summer with the windows open 24/7 and the low winter sun. I was horrified at how filthy they all are. This set made light work of a usually hideous job. The sprayer has a powerful jet. I used the wide set which cleaned the glass in a few strokes. The vac is superb and only needed one slow sweep for it to be completely dry. I did have a few streaks that were easily removed with a cloth. I believe they were there because the windows were so filthy. The dirty water was embarrassing but I know next time I use this, everything with glisten. Really pleased with quality, spead and results. I did buy window cleaner concentrate too as the recommended Bosch one is not available in UK.

Good battery life and smear-free cleaning of glass
We have several Karcher equivalents and one needed replacing and decided to try an alternative brand. We have other appliances from Bosch and we generally purchase their windscreen wiper blades, so we were familiar with their ability to clean glass well. This has proved to be the case with the Glass Vac, as it definitely leaves less smears then the Karcher blades. The battery life appears to be very solid and so far on the first charge the unit has cleaned eight large bifold door panels inside and out plus twenty window panes as well as several grandson fingerprint splurges in between using the window cleaning tool supplied. It certainly is a capable machine although there are two drawbacks - the dirty water water reservoir is small and if using it to clean down a shower screen you will likely need to empty it before you’ve finished, but cleaning the slight volume of cleaning liquid used on windows is fine. Also, the handle shape has its ups-and-downs;- the short distance between the blade and the bottom of the unit makes it possible to get closer to the edges of window reveals than a Karcher, however, it’s open design and slightly heavier construction makes holding it more tiring. Overall we are very pleased with it and decided to dedicate it to the window cleaning task while the Karcher’s are doing the showers. I would buy this unit again as it appears to be more sturdily constructed than a Karcher and the release mechanism for the blade is far better, with easy release and simple cleaning procedure for the parts.

Works efficiently and effectively
Charges easily via USB / USB 3 pin adapter plug and so far the battery run time is excellent. Gets me through 3-4 days of windows and shower cleaning. Suction is good and works when inverted too which is great. The unit is very well made (it's a Bosch after all) and the integral tank design is good and is easy to empty and so far no signs of any leaks, especially when inverted, which is a real bonus. The only slight thing is that I wish they also had a smaller head attachment. For most of my windows and shower the standard head is fine, for two small window tops I have I have to develop a twisting technique for most effective use, it's not a real problem but providing a smaller head adapter (even as an extra option) would be a nice touch. I've mostly been using it to collect condensation off of my windows and tiles and clean my shower. It's been very good for that. The cleaning attachment for cleaning your windows is good too, combined with the spray bottle to mix your own solution in, it makes things easy. Charging and run time are good, mine seems to last a few days, typically cleaning 4 windows and a shower for a few minutes each every day, I can get 4 days use off of a simple charge. I guess over time this might reduce due to the battery degradation, but it's a modern cell and holds it's charge well. This is a very good unit, if you want to clean windows/showers and collect condensation I think you'll be pleased at this price.

Better build quality than Karcher
A lot of reviewers compare Bosch to Karcher window vacs, and this is no exception. This replaces a Karcher WV5, which, IMHO, is a piece of junk, having literally fell apart after 18 months. A comparison with the Karcher is probably not a bad thing. Build quality: better than Karcher, both the large and small wiper sections clip on and release positively from the body of the unit (it was the large blade assembly on the Karcher which literally fell apart in use). The Bosch rubber squeegee element is soft rubber, supported by a stronger combed plastic section. I think that design makes it more efficient than the Karcher, which with its harder rubber blade used to make a noise like fingernails scratching a blackboard when going over nearly dry glass. Personally, I have never been able to get totally streak free glass after using a window vac, and have found that a follow up buffing with a microfibre cloth is required to remove residual streak marks. The Bosch rubber blade leaves fewer streak marks than the Karcher. Edge suction: I've had no issues with it sucking right to the edge of the glass. Handling: ergonomically, I have to put the Karcher slightly ahead. The Bosch body is bit "dumpy" and not as well balanced as the Karcher, but if you haven't used the Karcher previously, it would not be an issue as it feels easy enough in the hand. Tank capacity: I've read reviews in which the tank volume has been an issue. It has not been an issue for me as I am cleaning the windows of an average size house and have only had to empty the tank twice during a whole house clean. Might be a problem if you're doing a block of flats. Emptying the tank: The reservoir section is easy to empty and to clean. On the Karcher, to empty the reservoir completely, it had to be disassembled from the body of the unit, a right faff. Battery life: As per the last paragraph, the battery lasted throughout a whole session and still had capacity to spare. Accessories: comes supplied with cleaning bottle with pads attachment, no cleaning agent included. Again, to be fair, the Karcher equivalent is better, as I found the Bosch bottle spray nozzle tends to dribble a bit regardless of the spray setting, but that is a minor niggle. I like the wrist strap attachment: useful if you've to use it for awkward windows which need accessing outside panes from inside the room. In conclusion I like the Bosch as it is well constructed, reasonably ergonomic and easy to use, not very heavy and has a decent battery life. The price seems reasonable, £56 at time of purchase. This review is based on initial impressions in Sept '20 . If it fails or falls apart, I'll edit the review.

It works well and is much faster than using cloths alone.
I'm very pleased with it. I am using it primarily to clear condensation from the windows. It's much quicker than a set of cloths and it leaves the windows nice and clean, I do find it useful to have an old towel in my other hand just to finish off in the awkward corners but the towel is only a bit damp even after I've done the whole house! I haven't used the vac outside yet but I shall when the weather improves!

Good but unreliable
Bought this to replace my Karcher which just stopped working & now this has as well. Despite the light turning green to say it's charged it just won't turn on. Has better suction & ability than the Karcher but sadly equally as unreliable.

Handy little cleaner for more than just windows
Really handy device that makes cleaning glass and smooth surfaces quick and easy. It’s not 100% streak-free, but it does a good enough job for everyday use. I’ve ended up using it everywhere on shower screens, bathroom mirrors, kitchen tiles, and even the cabinet doors. It’s lightweight, charges quickly, and makes the job so much less effort. Would recommend if you’re after convenience over perfection
